This is one of our favorite restaurants. It’s a bit pricey but well worth it. They compare very favorably with Capital Grill, Shula’s and Trulucks. Make sure to call for a reservation and enjoy.

The Roy's in Naples closed so we made the trek to Bonita Springs to have a special dinner. There was no parking at 5:45pm. Had to park in a parking lot adjacent to the restaurant. The ambiance and service were excellent, the food was very, very good. But some of the portions were small and at $40 an entree it was pricey. The restaurant was full but this is the height of spring break season. Roy's does offer a three course special dinner on Sundays and Monday's so that is what we may do next time.

On Sundays and Mondays (at least in March) Roy's offers app + main + dessert for less than $40 a person. My only complaint is that you are not presented a menu with this option. When our waiter came to take our order (from the main menu), I inquired and he brought that menu. Not sure what I think about this. If management reads these reviews, they should include all menus. Wedge salad with blue cheese, egg, bacon, and heirloom tomatoes was very fresh. I had the prawns and husband had chicken. Dessert was pineapple upside down which was presented beautifully along with a scoop of ice cream.

Following a twenty minute delay in seating beyond the reservation time, the entre arrived after a reasonable time, extremely well done, though the fillet was ordered as medium. This is the first time such an event has occurred over several years of patronage. It was immediately taken back by our excellent waiter, James. Unfortunately the three others at our table sat with their food, nibbling, trying to be polite while their food cooled. After 20 minutes the fillet was finally brought to the table as ordered, pink throughout.

Though the waiter and manager asked if everything was ok, there was no offer of compensation. As our guests noted, in a quality operation it would be expected that desert be offered for all, or a complimentary drink or both. None of this happened. The individual with the fillet problem was given a bag with a small cupcake like desert with the check. Management should realize that the entire party was inconvienced and were also affected. The guests with us who are also Roy's regulars, indicated they would very likely reduce or stop their visits. In the past when a similar problem occurred under the old management, appetizers and deserts were comped and a small gift card given. Problems happen but that approach led to three years of regular visits. It's important to correct problems, compensate and ask for future business in this manner. There are many fine restaurants in the area. Competition should insure quality, or business will suffer.

Attended the Caymus Wine pairing dinner which all their courses we very presented and delicious except the fish. Which I believe I was given a bad piece. When I brought this to our waiters attention he blew me off which was very disappointing.
No longer a Roy's customer.
