An iconic mall in Brandon located east of I-75 and on Route 60 this area has transformed with the times to become an inviting place to shop and walk. Back in the early 1990’s I took my volleyball teams to the food court before heading to camp. It was a pleasure to have come back after twenty years to see the improvements.
There are a number of outdoor shopping outlets before you enter the mall. It is a bit confusing but you can go either right or left where the road splits. We always go left and to the food court. It hasn’t change, small for a large mall, but you can find Chick-fil-A and Chipotle’s. My favorite Chinese restaurant is there in Perry’s BBQ.
Your typical anchor stores are located at the Westfield/Brandon Mall with inviting entrances: Penny’s, Macy’s, Dillard’s and Sears. We actually came to the mall looking for “The Walking Store,” but none existed. There are a number of enticing stores though.
In the center of this mall is a large working carousel. It is quite unique and beautiful. There are a number of corridors that branch from here with their own unique sitting areas with aquatic figurines. There are even two playgrounds for children, one for toddlers.
The Cheesecake Factory, Bahama Breeze and other restaurants have been added since my last visit. They are located on the western side of the mall with their own dedicated parking area. We stopped at Cheesecake Factory and enjoyed a meal.
The Westfield/Brandon Mall serves the area well. We enjoyed our time and I think you will too. If you found this review “helpful” in any way, please press “LIKE” to let me know.
We needed to kill time before checking into hotel so we did a little shopping. I liked it. It was clean and had stores for all our family to enjoy! Good shopping!
We were vacationing in Tampa and went to this Mall. We were pleasantly surprised at how many stores were inside and unique shops. They even have a Dental center, tattoo place, and many nail salons.
This is a nice mall local mall and have some good shops. the parking can be a hastle on the weekends and during the holidays. the main part of the mall needs some updating to match the new wing of the mall were the apple store is located
We like this mall, its easy to navigate..anchor stores make parking easy and we aim to be out front of JC Penny's and then work round from there, some great shops plus all the usual suspects..sales on in a fair few help make value for money for us Brits even with a rubbish exchange rate..
This is a single level mall with Macy's and Dillard's as the major anchor stores. There is a newer section which added restaurants such as The Cheesecake Factory, California Pizza and Starbucks. The mall seems safe and the shoppers were not so loud. The one bad thing about the mall is the lack of a movie theater and for those looking for one, they have to drive to the other mall, Regency Square.
