What can I say in words to encourage everyone and anyone to take this tour? We ( 6 of us, ages 50-72) decided to take the kayak tour with guide. Our guide, JESSICA, was and is extremely informative about the wildlife and history of the area.
Jessica answered any questions we had and there weren't many questions because she was so thorough telling us about how the seasons affected the manatees, turtles, sea grasses, tides, etc..
Things to expect.
Your bottom and feet will get wet. They conveniently have a changing room so bring an extra set of clothes if you do not want to get your vehicle seats wet. I suggest water shoes and comfy clothes. They provide life jackets on each kayak which are optional to wear.
I don't recommend bring your phone or cameras, the guide will take plenty of pictures for your group and you can just sit back and enjoy the views.
Sunscreen a must.
I also recommend a bottle of water.
You do not have to be an athlete to take this tour, lord knows I'm not in shape!
I am looking forward to doing this again, but I want to do the snorkeling tour next.
Thank you Jessica for a wonderful experience!!!
