I played both the North and South courses and I can tell you that they are both challenging in their own right. Both courses challenge your skill and control, while sometimes forgiving your mistakes. Staff are friendly and courteous. I highly recommend you play early morning as the pace of play slows dramatically around 11. Maybe it was just what I observed on the 2 days I played there. Greens are a little brown but didn't impact your putting.

We liked both courses. Challenging but far. Very well maintained, The "villas" are a great place to stay & play. 1 minute walk from the villa to the first tee of both courses. We never got in our vehicle 4 days. Lunch fare was delicious. Friendly & efficient staff.

South course is fairly forgiving off the tee and has some interesting elevation changes (for Florida). The greens were in wonderful condition and rolled true. Make sure you hit a few practice putts to prepare yourself. First hole is a tough starter. Great value for the price. It was a inclement day and not busy so I cannot speak to the pace of play.

There are only a few special golf course in the greater Tampa Bay that mere mortals can get on and enjoy playing. Both Jovita course fir the bill. It has spectacular holes with amazing views (for flat Florida), is always in excellent condition and comes mostly at a reasonable price especially if you can get a GroupGolfer Voucher. I cannot wax too highly on the course but the other stuff is excellent too; the staff is most pleasant and helpful, the overall facility is gorgeous, and the food is delicious. What else can you ask for ?

Room Tip: Leave time to get there

We had been invited to stay here for 2 weeks, a bit of golf and some sightseeing, had been warned that the clubhouse was expensive and not so good, have to say that we found the staff, food and drink ok, Janet and Jessica looked after us very well, we are not golfers but the people we met treated us well and we all had a good laugh, the courses are very well kept and it’s a lovely place to wander around,
I hope that we are invited back sometime,
