We love Silver Shells! It is right on the beach, great pool, new pickle ball courts, tennis, courts. It is beautiful and right next to Henderson State Park. It is very clean, the common areas and grounds are well maintained. We stayed at St. Lucia, just walk across the pool area to the beach. Has beach chair service!
The resort had everything we could ask for. A great 2 bedroom unit with an ocean view. A huge pool area with chairs and tables everywhere. Pickle ball and tennis courts. A nice workout room. A Ruth’s Chris right on the property. Best of all, they have an awesome white sand beach that might be the biggest private beach in Destin.
This is a great place for a vacation with your family.
The resort is beautiful around the grounds and very well kept. They have brand new pickle ball courts, tennis courts, weight room and cardio room all on the resort. They have a huge lagoon pool with chairs and tables for everyone.
The best part of the resort is the beach. It might be the nicest beach in Destin with 1,000 feet of crystal white sand. They also have a great tiki bar right on the beach.
We stay in St Lucia 702 and it is a great place. Clean and great amenities.
Would highly recommend the entire resort.
This place was so disappointing. We have one day left, thankfully. Can’t wait to get the hell of out of this place. We arrived to the smell of mustiness and it was so gross and overwhelming. The place was dirty. Trash and candy wrappers all around the sofa and floor. Burnt out lights. Old run down furniture. No smart TVs out of 4! Not one. Dish service rarely worked. WiFi barely worked. No pot holders, oven mitts. No scrub brush in the sink. Bedrooms were not as pictured. I called and messaged the resort multiple times and only offered to clean and have maintenance come up.
I wanted a different condo. For $500 a night, this was just unacceptable. Stay anywhere but here.
Also, just fyi, as a female, be careful in the fitness room. There are cameras and the staff are physically watching you work out. Beyond creepy and perverted. This has been reported. But nothing. Just not ok in any way!!
No one reached out or tried to fix the situation. I even told the manager that this was the most awful place I’ve ever stayed in and had ruined my vacation with my kids. She said “sorry”….
Please don’t stay here. Save yourself the trouble, disappointment AND MONEY.
Spa was top notch! Marsha and Gina did our couples massage and both knocked it out of the park. We lost our time slot in a property near by and the Team here made it happen !
Each delivered an excellent service with relaxing atmosphere! My wife tells me the Marsha is the queen of deep tissue , and Gina is overloaded in the industry with many years of working out the kinks in a Swedish way that I did not see in most of my previous appointments.
