We sat outside just for a drink and dessert with friends. Weather was overcast and windy, but the outdoor seating was still nice and the service was great. Our waiter was extraordinarily considerate. The creme brulee was amazing, as was the Malbec I had. It was a great ambiance to chat with friends.

On a perfect sunny day, we enjoyed a wine and a delicious bloody Mary. The Bloody Mary was made with jalapeno infused vodka and garnished with olives, lime and spiced pepper. They served homemade potato chips with a flavored cream cheese dip, and the chips were extra crunchy and delicious; what a nice touch.

This is my favorite restaurant on the island. We had lunch and dinner there. Beautiful scenery, wonderful wait staff, good value for the money. They don't take reservations for parties less than 5, so you may have to wait. I would recommend going for sunset. It's awesome and you can make a night of it.

Following our Amelia Island River Cruise ( a very enjoyable experience), we lunched at Brett's. We were greeted by a sweet young lady who readily accommodated our request for a table with a harbor view. Our server was knowledgeable of all offerings, and quoted prices for their specials. I wish more restaurants would do that. My husband enjoyed a good size portion of local fried shrimp and fries priced at $16. Coating on the shrimp was super light and tasty. His starter of shrimp bisque was smooth and full of flavor for $7. The shrimp tacos offering
($12) (that I couldn't finish) had 1 very generous portions of grilled "bronzed" meaty fish fillets in flour tortillas, a big portion of delicious black beans and rice, and corn tortilla chops with fresh homemade salsa.

Stopped in for lunch on Palm Sunday for an wonderful experience. We ordered the "Good ol' fried shrimp" which is always good and also had the special for the day which was "chicken and waffles" however substituted for the duck and waffles. It was awesome and a full plate of food. Skipping dinner tonight there was so much!

Great views of the waterfront from any angle in the restaurant.

I will be back
