If you can,ask to be seated in the upper level of the restaurant it overlooks the beachfront. With or without your love it's an absolutely beautiful view especially in the evening. The food was fantastic and beautifilly presented. Casablanca is a must when in Ft. Lauderdale!

We’ve been to Casablanca Cafe quite a few times and have always enjoyed it, until now. We met up with family who were visiting Fort Lauderdale for dinner. After stressing to our waiter that we were observing Passover, and thus could not eat breadcrumbs, he assured us that the New Zealand rack of lamb was not breaded and could be eaten. But it was! Four out of the nine of us ordered the lamb and had to send it back because it was coated in breadcrumbs. When we received our racks of lamb, we noticed that instead of sending out new dishes, they simply cut down the old lamb. We paid the same price for a fraction of the meat, and if we were truly religious, simply eating any food which touched wheat would have been a violation of Passover law. What a way to inconsiderately ruin a family night out.

We really don't understand the great reviews about this restaurant!

First of all, the concierge at our hotel had made reservations for us........and when we arrived, they didn't have them!!!!!!! We asked the concierge about that after our dinner.........his answer was that sometime they acknowledge the reservations and sometime they don't. REALLY??? The hotel is encouraging patrons to dine at your restaurant and you don't follow up on your end for finalizing reservations????

Since the restaurant didn't have our reservations, we were seated at a very small table......no room for more than a few plates. We actually had to ask the server to remove the candle in the middle of the table so that we would have more space.

My spouse ordered the East Coast Chowder .....very creamy & flavorful. As for the rest of the meal, food was okay, but not "over the top". Our entrees were the Peppercorn-Dusted Filet Mignon and Mustard & Brown Sugar Rubbed Pork Chop.

Service was not the best...........too many diners and too few staff members???

Just after we arrived, the hostess was directing all future diners to the bar until they could be served. Great business for the bar staff, especially since some of those people had a 30-45 minute wait for dinner!

Would we return here in future visits to Ft. Lauderdale???? Not a chance! Too many other great restaurants!!!!!!!!!

We had a wonderful meal at the Casablanca Cafe. Great service. Outdoor seating overlooking the ocean. They don't take reservations, so best to go early because it will be busy. It's a great place for dinner in Fort Lauderdale.

Enjoyed a wonderful dinner at the Casablanca Cafe. The service was exemplary and the food was creative and delicious! The only thing that prevented me from giving them an excellent rating, was the very small round table for two. So small that silverware kept falling. Otherwise a great experience!
