I booked a 4-day stay. I was greeted by an infestation of ants and insects in the bathroom area. The bedroom area had an old, musty-smelling rug on the floor that needed to be replaced. The furnishings were mis-matched and badly needed updating. The wood molding in the bath, next to the shower was warped from water and pulling away from the wall. There was NO resort staff of any kind on the premesis from 7 p.m. until 8 a.m. each day. If guests had an issue they were asked to call a phone number! The containers of coffee creamer were spoiled and curdled and obviously kept past their expiration date. There were framed, typewritten notices, hung on the walls of the rooms by the housekeeping staff requesting that tips be made to them at the end of the stay. The day prior to checkout a pre-printed envelope was placed on the bed with a typewritten message indicating that the guest's tip was to be left in that envelope for the housekeeping staff! There were many electrical extension cords strung throughout the room indicating inadequate outlets and electrical service. Outdoor pool with partial sun but NO HOT TUB! Book with caution and your eyes open!

There's a book written by a CEO of a major airline, his best quote was, "the customer's not always right." When a guest submits constructive and useful reviews, we listen and we appreciate the feedback. It helps us improve our product and services. Your review was questionable. If you would have submitted the dates of stay and room number, that information would have been of value to determine if there was any legitimacy to your review. We then could have addressed your concerns. Either way, your review is highly exaggerated. I can tell you the time between your stay and now, 10 of our 14 rooms have been renovated. This major improvement was on our schedule. We listen to our guests suggestions and take it seriously. Obviously, a HOT TUB is an important feature for you. To be clear, we've never had one and never advertised having one. We do advertise our large, sparkling, outdoor HEATED pool, which has a "southern" sun exposure, our "warm hospitality" and other amenities. The amount of sun hours will vary by season, hence, December having the shortest daylight hours and June has the longest. You should consider this when choosing your vacation dates in a "warm winter destination." Listening to our guest's feedback, our website has been updated and our mobile platform has been launched. You have choices when choosing a gay hospitality establishment on Fort Lauderdale Beach, you'd be best suited at one of the other establishments. With Warm Regards...............

My husband and I planned a weekend get away so we went to Miami and Ft. Lauderdale. Chuck the manager was wonderful, friendly and a pleasure to talk with. The hotel is clean, safe, and friendly. We had a nice time and recommend this to others.

I stayed for two nights June 2015. Lovely place. Quiet. It's a small, may be 10-12 room hotel, spacious rooms including coffee making facilities, TV. It features a nice pool. Walking distance to beach. Staff were friendly and professional. Basic continental breakfast and wi-fi are included in your booking fee. Parking is ten dollars daily. The one drawback I encountered was that the windows shades were outdated and some areas of were not covered, getting early sunlight. Folks who have trouble sleeping under such conditions might find that issue a bit of a problem.

I've stayed here before and is always clean, welcoming and friendly. Great location close to the beach I usually get the 1 bedroom so I have a full kitchen to cook. One reason why I like it is the clean pool that is 8 ft deep. Very nice! One thing I would suggest leave the music around pool playing at a lower sound level after office closes at 7 PM so people can enjoy it at night.

very basic, no attitude, staff is great. rooms are reasonable and adequate. best part is laying by pool all rooms open toward the pool area. secluded, clothing optional. clientele more of your 40-60 years old. you wont find too many twinks, or muscle guys or attitudes. close to beach, and to the action not far from wilton manor. always stay there when in florida.

Room Tip: ask for room 16 or 17
