We were celebrating our engagement and decided to return to the scene of our first date: University Grill. All we remembered from our first visit was how nervous we were, this time we could focus on the food. This place is a nice American style restaurant with a sort of neighborhood pub style of decor. The menu is a mix of many “fan favorites” crossing over meats, seafoods, salads and pastas. There is something here to satisfy most diners. The prices are also very fair considering the food quality. Our choices included: coconut shrimp and caprese for appetizers (both excellent), crab bisque for soup (outrageously decadent), Boston haddock (very good) and sea scallops (awesome). Our server was a perfect mix of efficiency and social graces. This place is very good at what they do. If you haven’t been, give it a shot!!
