During our visit here, there was a lot of rain and the island had a lot of standing water in the streets, parking lot and access to the ocean shoreline was blocked by a lake of flooded water.
The best part about this place was the staff, who were very nice. The pool was large and enjoyable to swim in.
The unit we stayed in was tiny. The bed was advertised as a queen, but was more of a double sized bed and way too small for 2 average size adults. You have to wash your own dishes as there is no dishwasher in the unit. There is only room for one person in the kitchen area at a time. Be prepared to turn sideways to maneuver around the unit.
We did not appreciate being startled by the 9:15AM construction and drilling/power screwdriver in the wall by our bedroom on our 3rd day so we decided to cut our stay short and leave. The shoreline here is not a barefoot beach. We expected a better beach experience and this was a disappointing one at best.
