As an IHG Platinum member, I received few days before our arrival an email from the General Manager, who welcomed me, and also listed in his mail my preferences: high floor, far away from elevators, and quiet room. After check in we received a room on 2nd floor, opposite to the elevators. We changed 3 times the room, during check in, and finally we got a quite good one on 1st floor. It was late evening, and turned out during the night, our room was facing to the highway, 826, it was really noisy. On other hand, the size of the room was ok, but the sleeping experience was bad, because the matrasse of the bed was old, wawy and far too soft.

Thank you for your recent stay with us, for taking the time to share your opinion and we're sorry to see we failed to meet your expectations. Our IHG Rewards members are extremely important to us and we sincerely apologize we were not able to meet your expectations regarding your bedroom at check-in but room types and bedroom requests can often be challenging when a hotel is experiencing a major renovation and working with a limited room inventory. Having just recently purchased the property in the last year, we immediately identified the need for a full renovation of the hotel so we've begun transforming the entire hotel into the award winning "Formula Blue" style from IHG, which will instantly provide a beautiful product by the beginning of Q4, 2017 for all future guests and drastically improve the sleeping experience. With the hotel essentially being sold out for the last six months and many guests often extending their stay, rooms that we may have had "pre-blocked" for incoming guests can sometimes have to be altered due to unexpected stay overs. Hoping we can one day welcome you back in the future as we complete the refurbishment and offer one the of best properties in South Florida! All the best in 2017!

We had booked the hotel for an overnight stay prior to taking a cruise from Miami the following day.

Unfortunately, our flight got cancelled and we were delayed until the following morning due to an incident at the Fort Lauderdale airport.

We therefore could not stay as scheduled and went directly to the cruise terminal from the airport.

Subsequently, when I emailed hotel for a credit they gave us in IHG reward points deposited in my account.

This is the 2nd time this has happened to me that due to unanticipated event I had to cancel previously booked room at the Holiday Inn. Both times the customer service was excellent!

Very Friendly/Helpful staff. Nice hotel. Was very clean. Stayed for two nights and only had one problem which was with our loud neighbor , but front desk took care of it for us. House keeping is also very attentive.

The hotel can be translated as a branded bed and breakfast. If you are coming to Miami for shopping it delivers a great location and good access to the main roads. There is a security person who stays in the parking lot the whole night, which makes the hotel safer. However, the rooms need some improving as the one we stayed smelled a lot like mold.

Ok so the hotel is being renovated and while I was concerned this may be an issue we had no problems at all!! Good clean hotel with super friendly staff!! Would definitely stay here again!! On negative thing I could say is the elevator is kinda hot!! Bot overall it's a very good hotel!@
