We arrived to find out that Booking Agent made a mistake. He only had us booked for 2 nights when we paid for 4. He mistakenly put the wrong start date down. He was not onsite, he is not part of resort staff, technically a booking service I guess. Agent immediately sent email of apology and admitted he made mistake (you have to like the honesty in this day and age).
So needless to say the room we wanted and booked was occupied. They coordinated getting us into another room for Day 1 and 2, and then we moved to the correct unit for Days 3 and 4.
The replacement unit (Unit 637) for day 1 and 2 was gross and awful. The Correct unit 803, was very nice. I would recommend 803 and I would recommend working with Florida Destinations International VIP rental.
Our overall impression of the resort was that it is run down and not well maintained, but our unit within he resort (Unit 803) was good. Maybe HBR is not the best place to stay but I would be ok with recommending Florida Destinations International. They made a mistake which happens! They did their best and then they ultimately gave me a very fair rate credit back due to the difficulties we had due to their error.
