We just completed our 4th trip to Angelinos Sea Lodge a few days after Hurricane Irma. The owners worked hard to get all the tree debris picked up before our arrival. Again we had the most fantastic time here. This place is a hidden gem and we love it so much. Thanks again Lynn and Richard!

We just returned from five days here. The lodge is the best landscaped property that we saw anywhere on the beach. Lynn and Richard do a great job keeping the place up. They are friendly and helpful but leave you alone unless you need something. We stayed in the Cancun, which is by far the smallest of the four "lodges." It was all we needed for the two of us, but the bathroom is tiny. The street the lodge is on is very quiet. The beach is steps away and it feels like a private beach. We walked in both directions for several miles. Restaurants and shops are about a mile away or more. We walked or biked to everything, but it can be a hike. If you are looking for allot of nightlife, Anna Maria may not be for you. But if you are wanting a nice beach with privacy and a laid-back atmosphere, Angelino's at Holmes Beach is a great choice.

This was the perfect place to come and get away from the hustle and bustle. My wife and I loved just waking up and being able to be right on the beach for a quick morning walk. This time of year there were hardly any people on the huge beach plus it was only a short drive to nice places to eat. You also have your own kitchen if you choose to make your own meals The owners are laid back, friendly and take great care of the property. We will be planning our next trip back as soon as we can.

What a beautiful property with awesome owners. Landscaping, privacy, the beach. You could be on any tropical island. Just wonderful. And the cottages are so cute. Not to mention their awesome tree house. Just breathtaking. Thank you Richard and Lynn. We will see you again for sure.

My husband and I have retreated to Angelinos twice so far, once in the summer 2016 and once in the winter 2015. On both occasions we found a beautiful and spotless apartment waiting for us. Having tried out 2 of the 4 apartments available so far, we have found consistency in cleanliness, décor, and accessibility.
As a cigar smoker I have found their non-smoking policy to be considerate and consistent with the ownership and is quite understandable considering the easy accessibility to the public beach (with no smoking limitations).
While the apartments are well supplied, we have made it a habit to bring our own champagne glasses, as this is the only amenity that we have needed and was not supplied. Wine glasses, plastic-reusable cups, plates, silverware, cookware, etc. are all supplied. Some guests have even gone so far as to leave supplies after departure, such as seasonings, plastic wrap, ziplock bags, etc. We have also made it a habit to leave behind anything that may be beneficial to whomever follows us.
We have found the wifi to be intermittent and weak, but honestly...why are we on the internet when we are at Angelinos?!?!
Location is extremely convenient to all things Anna Maria, yet the beach around the homestead has NEVER been crowded (both in winter and summer). I truly think Angelinos is an undiscovered treasure and hope my review doesn't send the masses to my oasis! :)
One of the greatest assets to this retreat is the amount of shade offered on the property. This allows us to enjoy the sights and sounds of the water without risking the burn of the sun.
We love staying at Angelinos and plan on revisiting at least once per year, but probably more likely twice per year from this point forward. Prices are extraordinary considering all that is provided.
