You can’t beat the Duval Loop for transportation between the ferry dock, Mallory Square, and lower Duval. It’s FREE! The hours of operation are great and you can catch it every 15 minutes. The only down side is that it doesn’t run directly on Duval, but one block on each side.

The Duval Loop is a great addition to Key West!!! It's a free shuttle that has numerous stops. The bus runs a block or so off of Duval on both sides. I hope they continue to utilize this in the future. One of our drivers Mark was really funny. The others were nice but then again I wasn't looking to make friends, I just needed a way to get around town. I noticed that it was utilized by tourists and locals, which was nice to see.

The Duval Loop is a wonderful offering - a free, clean, air conditioned bus that transports you around Key West. And our driver was so funny. When we asked his name, he said “If you enjoyed your experience, my name is Mark. If you didn’t, my name is Paulina.” The bus runs from early morning til midnight, stopping at more than a dozen well-marked points every 15 minutes for most of the day. Our driver also pointed out a lot of Key West highlights for us. It was like getting a free tour of this fabulous town.

This might be the best thing to happen to Key West since the repeal of Prohibition. You can park your car once and get almost anywhere you want to go on the island for free. The bus travels on Whitehead and Simonton which are each 1 block from Duval and goes up to the Marina District with all its restaurants, shops and music. It runs from early morning to midnight. A great addition to a great city.

Great bus service to get around the hot spots. Used it several times. One driver was very helpful. The second one was rude. The third didn't announce the stops which made it hard for all the tourists who didn't know the route and couldn't see stop markers in the dark. Nice that it is free otherwise would walk.
