This is a great place to visit, immaculately maintained, interesting history as you wander though the keepers' quarters, then a chance to climb to the top & see amazing views all over Key West & the Gulf

This lighthouse, and the lighthouse keepers' house, are very well maintained. The lighthouse offers a super view of Key West. We then toured the lighthouse keepers' house adjacent to the lighthouse. It is now a museum and had much interesting history. The grounds are nicely maintained, also. For me, this is a must-visit for Key West.

The restored light house and keepers home, offers a lot of history about the area and light keeping service, which ultimately became part of the Coast Guard. It's 88 steps to the top of the light house, but the view is worth it.

I find Lighthouses are magical places to visit. This particular lighthouse and keepers quarters museum was certainly worth the cost of admission. Besides the panoramic views the amount of history to be acquired was excellent. The keepers quarters was restored with original artifacts. Went early on a clear sunny day. Not sure if it would be advisable to bring young children. The gift shop is filled with more than T-shirts and post cards. Can easily fill up 2 to three hours.

Worth an hour or so. Keepers quarters now a mini museum giving an idea of the keepers lifestyle, 7 days a week, year around.....glamorous not apt description, u understand how hard it was.
Lighthouse itself very cool, view awesome, the climb hard for many as you would expect, with only one platform to rest without blocking others ascending and descending.
