This is the worst rv resort we have ever stayed at. They pack you in like sardines... most spots you are not even able to put your awning out. Also, as the previous review stated about rude customer service..we too had an extremely rude younger girl at check-in. Then the owner came in and he was just as bad. This place robs you blind. They are not consistent in charges.. we spoke to many others while there with the same experience..
Since the hurricane they are pretty much the only game in town and they totally abuse that...don’t waste your time and money at this place unless you like being packed in like a sardine. They only care about making
$$$$$$$$.... so sad......

It's not our favorite key campground but for the location and proximity to downtown key west you really can't complain. Our first night it was a tad chilly and very windy but the pool was a nice and warm 85 or so degrees. It was refreshingly warm (until you had to get out) One afternoon we took our bicycles for a ride down to duval street. It was about a 5 mile ride each way but took very little effort because it is mostly flat. My 8 year old was on his own bike and didn't complain once on the ride down or back. The sites are close but not that close, we didn't mind it. I would consider coming back here if our other favorite didn't have any room. Thanks again!

We have never stayed in a campground with such tight spaces. Not only are we crunched in on top of each other, at $115 dollars a day, we can’t even get our bikes off the back it’s so tight up against trees. There are no areas for the dogs to go potty unless in the the road or on the edges of other campsites. Waterview? Very few, mostly for tents and tiny campers; otherwise, you are looking at other campers or heavy equipment for their work area. I was browsing in their shop, which is quite nice, and I heard one of the girls speaking to potential customers say, in a very condescending tone, “ why don’t you look at your calendar before calling me back as you are making this too confusing.” She hung up and the other women in the shop all laughed. This is one of the worst campgrounds we have ever stayed in, and we have traveled coast to coast and north to south. I would never come here again.

When visiting Key West in an RV, this is probably the best there is in the area, and we’ll probably be back, but that being said, the sites are very small, our neighbor was running a dog grooming business from her RV and had a portable dog fence almost all the way over to our Motorhome. Our view was of the auto body shop across the street. Two of the four nights when we returned after dark there was no security at the gate. (That was concerning). On several occasions the cable TV was so fuzzy and there was so much static we couldn’t watch it. When we asked at the office, the response was, oh yea, the cable here is really outdated and doesn’t work very well. Really, that’s certainly not reflected in the prices. But all things considered there aren’t many other options in the area.

Steve,
Thank you for your feedback stay with us. We sincerely regret that your experience was less than satisfactory. It is certainly not our goal to be just "okay" - we want all of our guests to have an outstanding tropical vacation and we're sorry we fell short in your case. We will strive to do better.

Warmest regards,

Good location- You could ride your bikes to restaurants and bakeries and local bars on the marina ( Hogfish). Drive your car in to Key West 5 miles, and have a wonderful time. This campsite has a small beach, Dock for small boats-Fish cleaning station, and nice pool with Tiki hut. The only thing it needs is a restaurant bar. Our space was average size for the Keys but some spots are very tight- The roosters woke me up the first couple nights but after that you just get used to them.
