Visited Key West this past weekend for the poker run and decided to have Chinese food for lunch... the restaurant is on Fleming Street, just one block away from Duval..... I ordered pepper steak and to my surprise it had red bell peppers, fresh mushrooms and onions in it... It was an absolute Delight ...the vegetables were cooked just right and the beef was very tender..... the gravy was absolutely delicious... Great experience... The restaurant is very clean and the staff is very friendly... I highly recommend it..... will go there again on my next visit....

Spotted one (and only?) Chinese take-out in town. Discreet house at corner of Fleming & Simonton.

Menu was simple with the fried rice, sweet sour or lo-mein in various combinations. Emphasis was on Hunan & Sichuan cooking. So, was it really hot like promised? Well. It was just standard fare and that was probably a good thing.

Tried egg roll appetizer (2) for $3. Picked the thinner rice noodles in the Singapore curry special with chicken ($15). Not bad. It was mildly hot. Generous portion served. Cooled down the palate with tea.

Fortune cookie read: “A man who does not make mistakes is a man who does nothing”. Indeed! Lucky numbers were 6,13,18,28,32,34. I checked. They were not lucky! Zai jian!

Typical Chinese fare, but the food was very good. The pricing is pretty much the same as you might expect with most of the menu under $10 with a few things up to $20. I asked for something that I normally buy at my local restaurant, won ton egg drop soup which was not on their menu and they happily obliged.
