This place is a walk up to a window & order and then sit around the docks and eat. There is an covered area (no AC) with tables or you can wonder down the dock and grab a picnic table. Also seems to be a bar up stairs on a huge deck. So the draw to the Keys Fisheries is their Famous Lobster Ruben (I don't think it is local lobster) so that's what I had. I have never had one before so I have nothing to compare it to, but it was really good and tasty. The wife went with the Lobster Roll Special and she enjoyed it. Both meals come with Fries & Slaw. There are other items on the menu that also look good so another trip is in the plans next time in the Keys.
I think the biggest draw for dinner here at Keys Fisheries is being able to watch the sunset as it's located on the West side of the Island.

This is where the locals eat. You line up outside and order off of the chalkboard. When your name is called, you go get your family's order and sit on wooden benches to eat it. (They do offer a full bar.) The biggest draw for the kids is that fish flock around the rails in the water to be fed and ogled. Ooh! Aah!

Reuben lobster...eh not worth it. Calamari, oysters, shrimp were good. Awesome view of sunset, bartender was very friendly and liberal in his pours.

We lived in Marathon years ago and visited Keys Fisheries routinely. The fish was always fresh-caught and delicious. We visited just last week with this destination at the top of our list, eager for their classic finger basket. We instead sat down with bulk-frozen, chewy batter encasing hard, overcooked fish. After inquiring we confirmed that these were now the fish fingers. Sixty dollars for four baskets of subpar fish sticks. Yuck!
