A bad joke - nothing right.
Coffee Cold asked twice for fresh hot cup Request ignored. Gratuity of $1.00 hopefully clued in the waiter to do his job.
Corned beef sandwich cold and FATTY on stale rye
Tuna salad was fine other than the fact chicken salad was ordered
And this was on a slow weekday early Pre movie visit.

Came in on a Friday morning. Only 1 other table there at about 8:45 am. That usually is not a good thing, but nonetheless I sat at a table. Waitress came took my order and I was on my way. My food was tasty, fresh and "home made" not like you get at a Dennys.
Waitress very nice as well. Breakfast 7$. Not cheap but good.

We were told by the waitress that some of the food we ordered (chopped liver) was bad and her previous customers returned it. We changed our order and got Matzo Ball Soup; the soup broth was OK but the Matzo Ball looked like an albino baseball and had absolutely no flavor. We ordered our steaks medium rare, they came out well done. They replaced them after we finished our sides. The waitress' attentiveness was almost non-existent and to request her several time from other workers? There was no management on premises. We will never go back!

We stopped in to purchase takeout for brunch with friends... lox, herring, whitefish salad. The l8x is hand sliced and true quality. While there, we sat down for breakfast. We caught one of the last days of a summer special...eggs, bagel, side and coffee .. all for $3.99... great buy, great service and a great meal.

Haven't dined here in quite awhile. New owners. Cleaner. Service was slow. Ordered 2 dinners. 1 Turkey dinner was mediocre; vegetable came tasteless. 2 Second dinner was a Veal dish; was completely overlooked and inedible. Had to return.Desert was sugar free tart but was pretty bad. Overall did not like the food and service was slow. Probably better off for lunch; forget about dinner.
