We just finished a 6 day stay and had a wonderful time here. Very spacious and comfortable rooms. Two nice pools and a great beach. Lots of water activities are available. The staff is friendly and helpful. You can relax at the pool or beach and have your food and drinks delivered to you. Several restaurants on site and a few other nice ones just a 10 minute walk away. The huge breakfast buffet here is a great deal with the 2 for 1 discount. Free parking right across the street, or you can pay for valet parking. There is new construction going on one side of the property but there is very little noise. They also have a very nice spa, but we did not try it.

My stay at the Resort was great experience. From check in to check out the staff was extremely attentive to all of my needs. Especially two bellman. Frank was the best experience at the resort. He went out of his way to make our stay the best. Dave was just as good. The resort did an excellent job with our class reunion. Bob Pheffer did a great job with all of the events. My expierence was the best I have ever expierenced in a hotel. The staff is first class and should be commended on there professionalism and first class service. I will definitely recommend and return .

My wife and I joined her extended family recently for a week on Marco Island, and we stayed at the Marco Island Marriott Beach Resort.

This is a large, sprawling hotel with three towers and a variety of amenities. There is a large parking lot for self-parking, although it is across the highway from the hotel. The towers are aligned perpendicular to the beach so there aren’t many oceanfront rooms but there are plenty with a view of the pool and a view diagonally to the ocean. Rooms are large and spacious and are in the process of being upgraded to JW Marriott decor (marble plus wood).

This resort does a particularly nice job of handing the pools and beach. The pools are gated and do not open until 8am, preventing the usual practice of claiming a large number of chairs the night before or super-early in the morning. Instead, people have to line up to wait for the pool area to open, but then they can claim several chairs per person. Prime spots still fill early, but at least it’s more fair than most resorts. Similarly, umbrellas and beach chairs are included in the resort fee, but they aren’t available until 9am. Again, people line up to get an umbrella in the front row near the ocean but it’s still pretty easy to get a decent spot later. Overall, this pool / beach system is one of the best I’ve ever seen!

The resort has a particularly good buffet for breakfast and dinner, with items that change daily. There is also a coffee shop, frozen yogurt place, pizza shop, outside bar/grille, and steak restaurant. Little amenities abound, such as the large mug you can purchase that gives unlimited soda refills at the bars and pizza shop throughout the week.

Overall, the Marco Island Marriott Beach Resort is a great place for a family vacation. The only downside is that, like many Marriott “resorts” there are no amenities for Marriott Gold/Platinum members.

I was very pleasantly surprised to discover this property. I was in South Florida, attending a golf outing and looking at property when I selected this. It was first class in service and is in the process of a makeover to a JW Marriott. Rooms were large, though bathroom was small, single bowl sink, small toilet in shower area however those are the only criticisms. Property was very well maintained. Two nice pools. The best part was the staff.Exceptional! Friendly, nice and sincere. Pool bars were great, service and drinks. The pizza place was excellent, who knew such good, healthy, custom pizzas could be at a hotel?the main dining room had a order full breakfast, was beautifully styled and service was great. Server offered to give to go coffees to every guests. Never seemed to be a bother and were on top of being nice and it was styled so nicely. Quinn's a the beach was a great sports batwing superb drinks and staff. Evening show at sunset was a nice bonus. The steakhouse on site was wonderful. Great steaks, service and atmosphere. My last visit toNaples area was at the Ritz Carlton Tiburon, but this team exceeds that wonderful experience. Kudos to a great general manager and team. Everyone was superb, great food and service in a beautiful setting.
