Several week's ago my wife and I stayed at the Marco Island Marriott Resort for six nights as part of a high school class reunion group. I cannot begin to tell you how wonderful this trip was starting with the room, the food, the restaurants, and especially the friendly staff. I travel extensively for work and this rates right at the top with other luxury resorts I have visited. I especially enjoyed the two large pools and the incredibly large beach for hanging out with my old friends. We could not have picked a better place to hold our event and reconnect after many years.

I will definitely return in the future as you can't beat the accommodations and the ease of traveling in to the resort through Ft. Meyers. This location is a winner in my book.

Room Tip: Request a Gulf View room...well worth it.

The Marco Island Marriott Resort is a fantastic hotel/resort. The location is perfect. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The restaurants are all fantastic. Quinn's is a lot fun especially during the evenings when they have music. Maia has one of the best breakfast buffets of any Marriott. The beach is beautiful. The staff at the beach are very helpful with setting up chairs and umbrellas. The pools are big with plenty of chairs and umbrellas for everyone. The rooms are very comfortable with a very large bathroom.
If you enjoy golf, both courses associated with the resort are fun, challenging and in great condition. Each has an excellent practice facility. They are easy to get to from the hotel.
When we arrived to check in, we discovered that not all of the nights we had booked through the 800# for Marriott were with our reservation. Robert, at the front desk, checked us in anyways and told us he would correct the problem without us having to wait. Robert straightened out everything with no effort or stress on our part. He is excellent.

Room Tip: Ask for a higher floor towards the beach.

Room was fine-housekeeping efficient.Construction for a new building was going on
and we found it distracting sitting at the pool.Weather was windy and umbrellas could not be used at the beach.

Pool waitress service was slow due to heavy crowds.Breakfast buffet was excellent and
the hotel had a two for one price included in the resort fee.Quinn's restaurant at the pool had decent lunch food .Dinner at Ario's the fine dining restaurant on the property was good quality but small portions. You really have to use valet parking since self parking was across the street and a good distance from the hotel lobby and there is an incline to overcome. The property is quite spread out and considerable walking is involved.

The concierge was excellent and the gym facility was modern and fully equipped.Overall-probably the most expensive hotel on the Island but first class.Their
convention facilities are top notch as well.

Room Tip: stay away from the elevators

The concierge, specifically those who assist with vehicle parking and retrieval, were all very helpful, friendly, professional, and expeditious. It was a flawless process. Just plan ahead for Friday and Saturday night taxi or other ride arrangements as this this be extremely busy and delays the arrival of a ride to a dinner reservation. The front desk staff were so very friendly and helpful at all times. In particular, a gentleman named Nick Vergara promptly assisted me with resolution of my final bill. This was very important, as I was in a hurry to catch a flight. His accommodation and understanding prompted is quick action and resolution. I very much appreciated this.

We just finished a 6 day stay and had a wonderful time here. Very spacious and comfortable rooms. Two nice pools and a great beach. Lots of water activities are available. The staff is friendly and helpful. You can relax at the pool or beach and have your food and drinks delivered to you. Several restaurants on site and a few other nice ones just a 10 minute walk away. The huge breakfast buffet here is a great deal with the 2 for 1 discount. Free parking right across the street, or you can pay for valet parking. There is new construction going on one side of the property but there is very little noise. They also have a very nice spa, but we did not try it.
