This spot was fab, great bed and shower. Full kitchen, front view facing beach, rooftop sun terrace, free coffee & wi-fi, discount dinning at next door hotel for food and drinks, and a whole lot more.

Room Tip: i requested a front room facing beach on top floor.

Beautifully renovated Art Deco property with an amazing location right on Ocean Drive; a brief stroll to the beach, restaurants and bars. Comfy bed, great a.c., large tub/shower with good water pressure, nicely-equipped kitchen, large screen tv, good lighting. But the wifi only works in the lobby, and housekeeping comes only every fourth day. Our specific room wasn't well maintained: the toilet had an annoying high-pitch squeal after flushing; the lower kitchen drawers didn't close well; the upper one didn't stay closed; one cabinet door hinge was very loose. Construction racket from across the backlane starts at 8 a.m. Nonetheless, for around $140 per night in December, it was a good deal. The hotel has a common fourth floor patio (sadly, without any shade) with tables and chairs; a nice place to relax with a glass of wine after a busy day. Park your car at a nearby municipal lot for $20 per day.

As others have noted, the staff is great/friendly and the location is ideal if you want access to a beach, restaurants and nightlife in South Beach. After that, though, it's all downhill. We got a one bedroom "suite" in the back – woken up every morning to sounds of workers yelling and screaming in the back alleyway, constant trash collection, beeping of service vehicles backing up, etc. As others have noted as well – needs updating. Leather/vinyl couch torn, peeling paint/grout, stains on the carpet in the hallway. The Internet is terrible – slow, hard to connect. The issue isn't with the 24/7 support as noted in response from the hotel, it's just outdated and not suited for several guests hooking up at the same time. It's slow. Parking is not an option really – best not to bother with a rental car if you can avoid it. We are Diamond Resorts owners – disappointed we got pretty much the worst room in the hotel overlooking dumpsters, back alleys and constant barrage of loud talking/screaming and yelling. Amazing how we got the high-pressure $75,000 sales pitch to upgrade our membership after a wake-up of the back alley dumpster banging and yelling. If you're used to a four or five star hotel experience, you will most likely be disappointed here. My recommendation would be to consider the Betsy Ross a couple doors down or other higher rise, "not so cramped" hotel options nearby off Ocean or Collins.

Room Tip: Avoid taking a room at the back of the hotel if you can avoid it.

We arrived at dark but this place was easy to find...parking is not great but we got lucky! Check in was a breeze and our room was nice. It's like a very small 2 bedroom apt with 2 baths and a very small kitchen/bar living area. It fit our needs, and it was clean and the beds were comfy! We were on the top floor with the rooftop terrace at the end of the hall. We enjoyed that almost every night. You can't get much closer to the ocean than this place! The park is across the street with the ocean right behind it...just walk right over. Restaurants up and down the road and some of the nicest employees everywhere. We had a wonderful visit!

We travelled down from Kissemee for a 2 night stay at Crescent Resort, we received a very friendly greeting and given our room keys.
We had a 2 bed apartment and we were blown away by it!
Although it had all the usual modern touches, huge microwave, fridge, massive bed etc.
the original art deco style was still apparent. Some reviews have been negative but I think the reviewers have maybe lost the point ,which is that this area has been preserved to maintain a certain look and to respect the history of the art deco movement.
We absolutely loved it to bits and would go back tomorrow! (if only!!)
