Please don't waste your money, doing so is a serious risk! This hotel by far is one of the worst experiences of my life. Back up, hotel? or Resort?

Metropole is marketed as a luxury boutique resort hotel. Metropole is more like a motel. The suite that I was assigned had clear water damage all throughout the unit. The floors had buckled or come loose and the ceiling had very poor plaster repair work done. When I entered the unit there were so many gnats, most likely from all the water draining on the floor from the non working HVAC system.

Metropole (like some other hotels) charge a $20-30 a day resort fee and don't even provide you with an resort experience. This is the real scam.

Each suite is complete with a kitchenette but they don't even provide you with paper towels, dish clothes, dish detergent, etc. Some units have a full size 30" stove but then there are no pots. And why do they give you a college dorm size ironing board? Just how are you suppose to keep the kitchen clean? I suppose you are to use a bath towel. There were so many other things missing in the suite that I got frustrated telling the front desk staff.

I was awakened at 6AM by the trash trucks emptying the dumpsters which I didn't realize was right up against the bedroom window. Yes, the bottom floor suite abuts the alley where all service vehicles enter and exit.

This hotel isn't well maintained and the advertised amenities aren't even offered at this property. You will have to visit about 4-5 hotels within the group the get the full experience which to me is false advertisement. If you go to the 3rd or 4th floor, you will notice severe sloping in the floor. This isn't a good sign at all and they are asking for legal action. I'd hate to think this property has structural issues.

I do not recommend this property even if you find it on a third party site. I think because of the party nature of South Beach Miami, this hotel like some others assume you need a place to change your clothes so they do the bare minimum for the guests.

I booked this dump last minute based on the Metropole pics and the Booking.com website. I’m a native FL and have lived in Miami. I prefer to stay in boutique hotels too.
I checked out immediately within the hour I checked in. ENOUGH SAID!

Stayed here for Ultra music festival 2018. Everything is way over priced in Miami which we are used to paying but wanted something on a budget this trip. Nice little boutique hotel. If you’re looking for a great place to sleep and shower in walking distance to great cafes, restaurants and the beach in South beach Miami... this is your place. Clean, quiet, comfortable and reasonably priced.

Booked this hotel as a four star through Priceline.
The Metropole was described as a four star hotel , which it clearly is not.
Nice sized room , good location and friendly staff, but needs to have a substantial makeover to be honestly described as four stars.
It is an old Art Deco building with a lot of charm but also heavily used over the years and it shows. The price I paid was great, but I would only stay hear again if the price was very reasonable.

The overall stay was great...It is a hidden gem, next to everything you would need & you can hangout in their courtyard & relax. The staff was very helpful with anything you need. We stayed in the suite which was very nice, right off the courtyard, not sure of how the other rooms are but I'm sure it is suitable. Will definitely stay here again & recommend this place very much.
