First the good... staff are wonderful especially (Wintana-so sorry if I got that wrong) at the Concierge Desk. Our first room was hideous. Torn curtains. Missing sofa cushions. Scuffed walls. Overused furniture. And a nice musty smell. All for $450/nt. I called downstairs and without any hesitation they professionally and quickly got us into a different room. It didn’t remedy all off the issues but was passable. Listen Shore Club: with such a great staff and location you need to redo those tired old rooms. Or start charging $99/nt high season. As an interior designer I’ll give one obvious piece of advice: if you want to pull off a cool clean minimalist look EVERYTHING needs to be perfect. If not every imperfection stands out like bucket of red paint. Good luck!

We apologize that you weren't content with the first room that you were given, but that you were content with the second room, that we quickly moved you into! Stayed for a week and had great time..What we really enjoyed is that you feel relax and the staff is not pushy ( they dont see you just as a $$ walking around). At beach hotels in South Beach where we stayed before (5 star hotels) the service might have been better but very annoyed because there is a continuous effort to get your money especially at the pool. Have to mention the BEST EVER CONSIERGE Vachira Perez which made the difference to our stay. She is so friendly and really she knows the best places to suggest. She immediately understands whats your tastes are and suggests the right place..A suggestion to hotel management...There is a need to have more bicycles.....

OK. Not the most luxurious but a great retro South Beach feel! Clean rooms, great view. Felt like I was in 1960’s Miami Beach in a good way! Public spaces could use a refresh but friendly and more than accommodating service, especially the valet parking and bell service. Only there one night (went to Key West for a less than inspiring experience at the Waldorf Astoria Reach Resort) but would stay again!

Stayed here for three nights in February.
The hotel is really dated and shows it's age. There is an odd musty smell that permeates the hotel which they really try to hide. The room is odd with the bathroom as big as the room itself. The Malin and Goetz bath products are a nice touch but our bath had nothing separating the bathing area from the rest (other than a shower curtain) so our floors were constantly wet, which irks me.
The pool area was often crowded and again tired looking, so we spent most of our time on the beach. This is one huge positive, the beach in this location is so lovely.
The location itself of the Shore club is also really nice- walkable to all the restaurants and close to Lincoln Road etc.
We typically stay at Carribean/Asian beach resorts, so it was rather annoying being nickle and dimed for everything (an umbrella!!) but this seems to be typical in South Beach.
Anyhow for a short stay and for location, the Shore Club is fine. Just know you're staying in a somewhat past it's prime spot.

I see that there were several inconveniences experienced while staying with us. We are working on updating the hotel. The rooms, common areas, restaurant, etc is all in the works of getting updated. We hope that you will come back and give Shore Club is second chance the following time that you come to Miami! We would love for you to experience all of the wonderful change!

I was a heading up a team of 15 coming to Miami for work.
The initial check in was smooth, and my room (sea view) was great though I understand there were a few small issues with colleagues rooms - fridge/TV not working - but all dealt with.

The staff were all super helpful and polite. The pool area was great, though the food could have been of a higher quality.

For price vs value I would definitely stay again and recommend.
