we had my husband's birthday party on a Fri night at 7:30. The room was available as stated, the appetizers served on time, service great and wine served happily. Great venue, great party. Only issue was the portions were so huge we threw away half the food for a party of 14. Wish I had been more careful ordering which we did the week before. The celebration cake was to die for. Great party and the service was top notch!

Let's start with the place itself , clean with lots of pictures to look at while you are waiting for your first course. Salad we decided to have a small mixed salad which was large enough for 2 or3 people plenty of olives and peppencines the bread was fresh and hot and came with a small dish of herbs (fresh basil, garlic, crushed red pepper on the side , olive oil and I requested balsamic vinegar. This was followed by an order of fried calamari which by the way was lightly dusted with flour and flash fried so that the calamari was tender also the tentacles were included Perfect! The next course was an order of linguine fruittidi mare the pasta was perfectly cooked and the dish included clams, mussels, calamari, and shrimp and they didn't skimp on the sea food. We also ordered a quartino of Merlot and a quartino of Pinot Noir. The wait staff was friendly and the service was excellent. I would like to thank Zachary,Arezo, and Paul for making the dining experience great. By the way we added a piece of the chocolate cake to go as we were stuffed( the cake was moist and delicious ( the piece was big enough for 2) . For the price and the portion sizes and the quality of the dishes Buca is hard to beat. I recommend this Italian restaurant to anyone . Don't forget to go there hungry and plan on taking some home cause their will be left-overs!

If you want a big plate of spaghetti and meatballs Buca di beppo is the place. Very over priced though regardless of whether it is a small or family sized plate. The veal was like leather, it was impossible to chew. The chicken parm was well prepared though. In a restaurant that is cut into a maze, one would think that they would seat families with screaming babies in separate rooms, rather than where there are adult groups looking for a peaceful meal, but that is not the case at Buca di beppos...While I love babies as much as others, I don't need them screaming behind me while I drop $150.00 on a dinner...and don't put your fork down as the bus girl is ripping things out from under you while you are eating....Good spaghetti, good chicken, great waitress, lousy veal, screaming babies and an over active bus girl....nope....not something I want to do again...

Excellent tasting food in generous measure at reasonable price. Timely and pleasant service. Assurance of excellent food on every visit. Minor item - garlic bread a bit strong for my taste. Otherwise, could not be more pleased!
