After walking up and down Fifth Avenue checking out an Art Fair in beautiful Naples, my wife and I stopped at Yabba's Island Grill for lunch. It was crowded but we found inside seating right by the sidewalk within a few minutes. The experience from beginning to end was wonderful. I chose the warm spinach salad from a wide selection of salads while my wife had the tuna melt. Presentation and food quality were top notch. My salad had apples, blue cheese, mandarin oranges and pecans among other things in a warm dressing (berry-bacon or balsamic) that was really good. Service was very attentive and the prices were reasonable, especially for Naples. We will definitely come back here again.

Just looking for something casual on a warm Saturday evening while strolling on 5th. Most restaurants on 5th are pretty high end. Server, Bita, was very friendly and knew the menu well. "Yabba-Rita's" - their version of margaritas - were refreshing and tasty enough to order seconds. I had the Tuna Monsoon salad, with well prepared ahi tuna, and was quite fresh with just the right amount of citrus vinagrette. Husband had a grouper sandwich that was pretty good. Sweet potato fries were thick cut and lightly salted so still got a good sweet potato flavor. Coleslaw seemed to come from grocery store. Overall a good experience.

Dear Stp2010,

Thank you so much for coming in to see us! We’re so pleased you really enjoyed your food and the great dining experience we offer at Yabba.

We love offering that relaxed, island style environment with a menu that truly features world-class, global cuisine. (And we did change up our coleslaw on the menu, so you’ll be pleasantly surprised on your next visit!) We like offering classically simple and flavorful dishes, like our grouper sandwich, but we have some amazing menu items that you simply can’t find anywhere else. When you come next to dine with us, I highly recommend our Crispy-Crunchy Crab-Stuffed Grouper (and don’t take my word for it, read TwoWheelsOnly’s review on March 24.)

We look forward to having you come in for dinner again soon! By the way… just for being positive, how about a gift card for your next visit? Please contact us at customerservice@gr8food.net.

We've been to Yabba a few times, and really enjoy the options that include something "crab stuffed," as there is no filler. It's all crab. The shrimp with the crab stuffing is good, but there can, unfortunately, be a tendency for the bottom of the shrimp to toughen up - it was uneven in my serving dish, so I'm not sure how that happens. The crispy-crunchy crab-stuffed grouper is fabulous. And true to its name, it's crispy.
Your choices here do include a lot of things with mango, so if you're not a fan of mango or you are allergic, double-check with your server.
Before your meal, you'll be served a cheesy pepper cornbread and cheesy biscuits. It's hard to not keep eating them - keep some on hand to help push some of the food onto your fork or to soak up any of the sauces from your meal. Tastes excellent.
They have some beautiful cocktails here. It's nice to sit in the front room with the doors opening to 5th Avenue or on the patio next to the Sugden Theatre.
Of course, expect 5th Avenue prices, but fair for some of the seafood dishes considering its location.
It's a lovely place to have dinner by 7 so you can walk down to the beach for sunset and top off a tropical meal or go after sunset and enjoy a good meal after the day is done.
None of the desserts here are really special. I don't know why they've not reworked the menu to include something that just makes you say "wow!"

Dear TwoWheelsOnly,

Thank you so much for coming in to dine with us at Yabba! We’re thrilled to hear you’re a fan of all we do! We often hear how much our guests enjoy our “no filler” crab stuffing, our creative seafood dishes, our excellent cocktails and our beautiful patio. We’re so glad you enjoy them too! That being said, your food should always be fantastic, cooked to perfection and delectable.

Did you let your server or a manager know that your shrimp had toughened up a bit? If not, please let them know. A manager is always on duty to correct any issues that may come up.

We’re so pleased you love the flavor of our sauces, really enjoy our Crispy-Crunchy Crab-Stuffed Grouper and truly see the value in what we deliver.

We do disagree on the point of our desserts. We regularly make adjustments to our menus and that extends to our desserts too (and our pastry chef makes fabulous desserts)! What kind of dessert would make you say, “wow”? (Please let us know!) That truly is our goal with every guest who comes in to dine.

Maybe next time you come to see us you can try the Fudgee-Wudgee. It’s a favorite on the menu, with our 2-inch high macadamia fudge brownie served warm with a hearty scoop of vanilla ice cream and hot fudge. We would love to see you again soon! This looks like 'one of the places' to go on 5th Ave in Naples. We went on St. Patricks Day and the place was packed. That said; service was terrific/attentive (except maybe for our pre-dinner cocktails...). We had the Rasta Pasta & Trout. Both were good. I'd suggest that you ask for outside seating, for a more pleasant experience

Dear Burnsinny,

Thank you so much for coming in to Yabba for dinner! We’re so glad you had a great time with us and enjoyed our food.

We’re thrilled your service was terrific, but we apologize it was a little slow for your pre-dinner drinks! It should have been terrific the whole way through. We were packed with a record number of guests for St. Patrick’s Day weekend and all that week (it’s a popular holiday on Fifth Ave. in Naples!), and we’re so pleased you had a great time with us!
