Visiting family in town we decide to try Off the Hook. We called ahead to let them know we had a large party with small children. We were seated and greeted fairly promptly. You could tell the establishment was getting busier by the second. We arrived around 6pm and after sitting down, waiting to receive drinks we were wondering how long the food would take with such a large group and multiple large parties. After the initial busy sit down, drink/food order things started to move well. At first our waitress seemed a little overwhelmed. Even short at first, but quickly got herself organized and redeemed herself. Everything we tried was delicious. The happy hour mojitos were pretty tasty. For an appetizer we tried grouper bites, very tasty but seemed like a smaller portion, and a dozen oysters. The oysters took awhile, however we were told and given the option to serve the rest of the food and get those toward the end of the meal and we agreed that was fine. My husband had the Cobia dinner special and I had the dozen Rock Shrimp dinner. All fantastic. And whatever they bring out on the table to wait for the food.. corn fritters? Were amazing. The kids devoured them. Needless to say hats off to the kitchen. They nailed getting out all the food hot and deliciously at that! We definitely will be back!!!
