This beach is so beautiful. Shocks me that cars etc are allowed on the beach. Such a shame. The weather wasn’t great the day we visited do we didn’t stay at the beach long but would go back. The shops in town are many. Lovely places. Bad news limited parking. To park in the beach $20. To park in the lot it’s $10 all day. We had a couple of hours so it wasn’t worth $10 but there are no other pay options. This should be changed. It should have hourly parking. Gets more people in and out too.

We visit NSB each year and stay down the beach, but always come to Flagler Ave and the town beach. Fun atmosphere and people watching. Great time to hang and relax.

Very nice beach - seems popular and clean - you have to pay for parking. We never went in the water, but for a quick walk and some pictures, it was very nice. Nice little Florida town.

My SIL recommended this beach to us while visiting in Florida. Since I didn't want to brave the crowds of more popular beaches over spring break, this seemed perfect. And it was! Packed, fine sands to play in, easy beach access, shallow water for quite a bit...

Be sure you know which sides of the beach can be driven on. If you want to bring your vehicle down to can for $20, but you need to get out before the tide comes up. Otherwise parking is available for $10 and there is a side cars can't drive on.



BUT! Check your tide times! Even if you aren't driving! The breakwater isn't far back enough to allow you any beach when the tide rises. It stays shallow, but there won't be any dry spots. Wish we had known this is advance as we would have planned for an earlier beach day. Still had fun though! Plus there were fresh water showers and bathrooms where we parked.
