Description: Briandi's is a family-owned restaurant in Nokomis, Florida serving Italian dishes passed down through generations of homemade cooking. When you sit at our tables, you will experience freshly made veal and chicken cutlet dishes such as our picatta or marsala. The exquisite eggplant parmesan is stacked high and made crispy when you order. Peruse our menu for the entire selection. Then, visit for yourself, or order dinner to go.

Just wondering why it was closed at 4:30 pm on Sunday June 17. The outside sign had open at 4:00pm. Nobody was around inside. Another couple was also waiting to go to dinner. They were surprised it was closed, also. Are the closing?.?

We stopped in as it was next to our hotel. Minestrone soup was more of a marina based soup. Bread was good as other reviewers said. The veal was just ok
The service was great and we enjoyed the quaint atmosphere.

This is a hidden gem! The food was served hot and with care by the staff. The staff was very attentive, we wanted for nothing. We arrived during "early bird" and the portions were still a very good size. The spaghetti sauce was some of the best I've tasted in a very long time and the Chicken Parm the same. Wish this establishment was local to us as we would become a frequent patron (we were on vacation and a past Floridian resident told us this was a must visit). Thank you for making us feel more like a family member than a guest.

Talk about hidden gems! Briandi’s Italian Restaurant is very close to Casey Key and a wonderful taste experience. There are about ten table inside and a small bar but if you have to wait for a table, you won’t regret it. Not only are their portions humongous, but they are delicious! The pizza comes in one size, extra large, and all the pasta dishes look amazing. We had pizza and shrimp pasta our first visit and shared spaghetti and meatballs ( in the picture) and another pizza on our second visit. We took home enough left over pizza the first time for two days and then decided to go back before we left for home. Love this place! They are very busy and you will probably have to wait, but have a glass of wine and enjoy the anticipation!
