Description: Enjoy a spicy and unique atmosphere while savoring the fine Mexican and Southwestern cuisine at Cantina Captiva. Try our homemade guacamole - “The green stuff!” It's made fresh daily. Served with a side of pico de gallo, and warm corn tortilla chips or perhaps you prefer something a little spicier? We've got you covered with our stuffed cheese jalapeno poppers served with a side of fiesta ranch dressing. Looking for a salad to suit your fancy? Choose a taco salad or a fajita salad with your choice of chicken breast, steak or shrimp on top of crisp lettuce topped with lots of goodies. Of course, we have the traditional Mexican food favorites like fajitas, enchiladas, tacos, and burritos. Feeling more non-traditional? Choose our chef's favorites - Shrimp Diablo – Gulf Shrimp sautéed with our chef’s secret chipotle marinade, or Tequila-Lime Shrimp. Complement your meal with a choice of imported or domestic beers or perhaps an icily refreshing margarita!

Great place to go for lunch--good views of the water, approachable menu, and lots of beers on tap. In fact, this was the first place that I have seen Leinenkugel's Summer Shandy on tap, which was fantastic. This place has been here for decades, and we've been stopping by here since the early 80's.

Really enjoyed the food here. Appetizers were delicious. Highly recommend the white queso dip and the guacamole. Entrees tasted homemade and the margaritas were excellent. We enjoyed the whole experience.

Unique place, fair prices. Best location in Sanibel not the one in Captiva. Place is very dirty, restroom is a mess, not a good clean place.

went there a couple of weeks ago. Was on Captiva and did not want seafood. My wife had fajitas and loved them. I ordered the Iguana hot wings. Best wings I ever put in my mouth. Ten filled me up.Going back in about a month. Can't wait to get more wings.
