In April/May we had a few times lunch at this Thai restaurant and the food is simple but good. Especially the beef satay and the curry dishes are great. Pleasant typical Thai service. Very popular with the locals. A very large choice of Thai and Chinese dishes on the menu.

Thank Alfred B

Thai House 2 has been a staple in N. Miami Beach/Aventura for years, and for a good reason : their food quality and consistency are top notch. On a night of wine pairing mission we tried a variety of dishes on the menu, which consists of Japanese and Thai food. The crispy duck is a standout, and paired beautifully with high end Pinot Noir such as Marcassin, Martinelli and Kistler. So were the chicken with chilli and Shrimp with pepper that paired well with Aubert Chardonnay. BB beef with basil went well with the Bevan Pinots and a 1995 Chateau Montelena Cab. Also note worthy were the rolls, and specifically my new favorite, the Alaska, which has Alaskan King crab. Great service, highly recommended.

The service, food and decor were wonderful. The lighting is not too bright - intimate. Love the carved tables. I will definitely visit more often. The flavors were amazing. Never had the Duck Curry before - OMG!!!! I LOVED it. I've tried duck before and I did not really like it - but THIS - This was amazing. The waitress let me know that they boil it then fry it. Absolutely delicious. Maybe the boiling gets rid of the "gamey" flavor.

Very big menu with lots of stuff purportedly Japanese and lots of stuff purportedly Thai.
We tried whagt were supposed to be Shui Mai and tasted lke fried articial scllserved with tine dollops of straight mayo.?? The Lemongrass and shrimp soup had some very nice mushrooms and frozen peas along with the tasteless shrimp in a broth that Mom thought was salty.
we had two sushi rolls, a (sub)standard spicy tuna roll and a quite interesting roll with yellowtail, scallion and asparagus. they did have the hottest wasabi I have ever experienced and plentty of pickled ginger .

The Pad Thai was utterly tasteless with watery thin noodles, half cooked scallions some ground bland pork and more flavorl-ess shrimp

The food was good. Spicy wasnt spicy enough for me, but it was good. I dont like salt and the food was fresh and not too salty. The tables are hand carved and look so cool.
