I have been a patron of Sammy's for more than 12 years now, since before it's two expansions, when it was a rather small pizza parlor. Sammy, his wife, Colleen, and their sons and daughter have always made customers feel welcome and appreciated. The food is good with plentiful portions. Their warm, wonderful bread is worth the carbs and calories! The chicken parmigiana is my favorite, a pounded thin large breast that's very tender under a layer of tasty marinara sauce and parmigiana cheese. I try to eat only half and take the rest home, but that rarely happens! Their pasta fazioli soup is flavorful and comforting and the Italian wedding soup is also good. The house special dish with eggplant is another favorite. I have eaten at Sammy's many, many times, alone, with one or two friends, and with large groups. Not once has anyone been disappointed with their food or the service. Try it--you'll like it!
