Heading out along Nutbrook trail from Straws bridge on our new years day walk it was freezing and the path was very icy and slippy, most people we met where walking on the edge or grass all the way to the canal, beautiful crisp day for a walk.
From Straws bridge we took the south bound part of the Nutbrook trail towards Sandiacre, very popular with other walkers, dog walkers and cyclists but all enjoying the pleasant trail, saw a resident being guided back to the water see photo.
Nice long walks, weather on own or with friends and family, plenty of places to go. First time other week I went on a trail was nice.
The Nutbrook trail is about 10 miles long, we sampled the part that goes through Shipley park, its well maintained and a pleasure to walk along, busy at this time of year.
A beautiful easy walk whilst being close to and enjoying Mother Natures wonders at your own pace, with a rest stop for a break.
Love love love the Nutbrook Trail spend a lot of time walking, running and cycling along it and love going to the Nutbrook Cafe for a hot chocolate
