We have just got back to our hotel from a day at Typhoon Lagoon and we are all smiling from ear to ear. Having read a gazillion reviews in a semi-panic about towels, locker space, foot wear, safety for 7 year olds etc. in an attempt to be prepared, I needn’t have bothered. From the minute we parked up to the time we drove away, everything was perfect. The staff are fantastic, the lifeguards are exemplary, the park is pristine and the wait times were about 5 minutes max for everything we went on. Plenty of loungers in the shade and although we had a locker, we hardly used it (bag felt safe under the loungers). Could find nothing to fault (and I’m a perfectionist)! Highlight of the day? A cuddle with Stitch! Can’t wait to go again!!

A nice place to get a break from the Florida heat. We went later in the afternoon after a morning at Hollywood Studios and it was a good amount of time to be there.

We came here last year for a day during a holiday to Florida.
None of us are into anything too thrilling so this park suits us. I love the main pool with the waves. It's easy to think you are in the sea because it is so realistic. I have seen in some reviews people stating that they fall over and get injured. I think that is because they try to jump over the waves and stay standing up. Better to go a bit deeper and swim back with the waves.
The new ride Miss Adventure Falls is lots of fun. You sit in a large round dingy (takes up to 4 people) You first go up on a converer belt then down the large flume, part undercover with light effects. This is much better than the parks other family ride, gangplank falls, which is very short.
The lazy river or cast away creek as it's called is fun too, a good way to relax for 20 minutes, it's a mile long!
Plenty of other slides here too, you probably need best part of a day to enjoy, especially if you are only going to visit once during you stay.

Just came back from a fabulous day at Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon Water Park! This park is clean, friendly and there is plenty to do. One little hick up, ordered food and it took 20 minutes to arrive from a fast food restaurant, mentioned it to a Disney Cast Member who apologized and offered a full refund and we also had the meal on Mickey! Thanks Mickey!!! So grab your bathing suit and head down to Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon, You will be sure to make a Splash!! ☀️

My kids loved it. My son is 11 and he loved the bigger slides and the family raft rides. My daughter 3 did ok on the family raft ride but preferred the kid area. It wasn’t crowded at all and we found shade no problem. We got there early because after reading reviews I was worried about finding chairs in the shade but there were plenty available. We never experienced a longer than 5 minute wait. We were a little disappointed because the wave pool wasn’t working when we first arrived but they had it going by around 1:00. The staff was very friendly we would definitely visit again.
