We just got back from our vacation to Walt Disney World and we stayed at the World Quest resort. I had checked online and saw that overall it had wonderful reviews.

I have to say if you are going with family or large group this has got to be the only way to do Disney. We were 1-1/2 from the disney gate.

We were immediately upgraded to a 3 bedroom condo b/c the 2 bedroom condos were full- worked out great for us. My husband, 3 year old daughter and mother went so extra privacy was a plus.

We heard no construction, the pool was beautiful, the condo was very clean and the free drinks at the clubhouse were a definite plus.

We paid $159/night for 6 nights- this was truly a great value. We did run low on toilet paper and they did not replace (this was like our last day there) but overall housekeeping was pretty good.

Check this place out- it's a great deal!

We spent 17 nights at this resort in Sept. We stayed in a 3bdrm, 2bathroom.
After reading all of the amazing reviews, I think I had my sights set a little high. It is not a sparkly brand-new fantasy-land.
It is, however, a very nice, very functional alternative to overpriced, undersized hotel rooms!
We (a family of 5) enjoyed the space that this resort gave us. The Master bdrm and bathroom were huge. The other two bedrooms (one queen, one with twins) were not large rooms, but they were great for the kids to either play some toys or watch cartoons. The king Bed in the Master was very comfortable and the room was huge! The Jacuzzi tub was enjoyed by all (plenty of hot water!) and the walk-in shower had alot of space and pressure.
The kitchen was well equipped, right down to the corkscrew, cutting, board and bottle opener. Coffee packets, both decaf and regular, were supplied daily. Kitchen sponges. dish cloths, dish soap, and dishwasher soap was also supplied. The only downside to the kitchen was the colony of ants that resided on our counter, which was taken care of after a phone call to the front desk. (We were offered another room, but didn't see the need to move.)
The Dining area was very tastefully decorated and served the 5 of us nicely.
The Living Room was comfortable. However, another easy chair would have been nice. It was a tight fit for five on one couch and one easy chair.
Overall, the resort was quiet (no construction noise) and well run.
The pool area was huge, clean and nearly deserted. We sometimes had the whole area all to ourselves.
The supplied breakfast was adequate. Muffins, Cereals, Danishes, Cinnamon Knots along with free juice, milk and pop.
Chips and Salsa in the afternoon, and Brownies, cookies, or cupcakes in the evening.
We were incredibly close to DisneyWorld, as well as many restaurants and shopping.
The staff were very friendly and helpful. The common areas were always kept very clean, as were the grounds.
The downsides were outrageous long distance charges, internet access the wasn't accessible, and a tv remote that had a mind of it's own. None of these were unbearable.
We would definitely stay here again. It is a very tasteful, quiet alternative to some resorts or hotels that have neither the abundance of room or the comparative value.

We had a beautiful 3 night stay at the WorldQuest Resort. Like other reviewers, we found it challenging to find at first, but once we found it, it's actually easy. The resort is off the main roads so use the Marriot and the Nickelodeon Hotel as your landmarks. The road that leads to Nickelodeon will lead you to the WorldQuest. WorldQuest is a gated community, very nice indeed. Check-in was easy, no wait and great service.

Our room was a three bedroom, three bath condo which was excellent for our party. My mother-in-law basically had her own wing and we had the other (master bedroom suite) with a large bathroom and jacuzzi tub. The 1300 SF space with a screened in porch sure beat the usual (even upscale) hotel rooms.

We had no problems whatsoever. While we would have preferred larger bath towels; brighter lighting in the rooms; and breakfast available after 9:30, but no matter - our stay was wonderful. Pool was really beautiful excellent, Jacuzzi really nice - never crowded.

The resort is close to everything. The staff was very friendly; the rooms are spacious and clean. The pool is terrific- we enjoyed it day and night. The morning continental breakfast saved us time and money. The complex is quiet; a wonderful place to relax away from the crowds and noise of the parks.

In the lobby's breakfast/snack area there is a refrigerator stocked with complimentary juice, milk and soda - how nice!

WorlQuest does not have activities, no kid's pool (we have no children but for those who do...), no restaurants, no game room, no business center, etc. That was fine for us, but for those who may want more, it's good to know what is available. There was really nothing to do but relax by the pool or in your unit and enjoy the comfortable space.

Overall, our stay at WorldQuest was great and we definitely recommend it to others.

Worldquest is a nice ok resort but not as great as the reviews, definately not deserving 5 stars Room was nice but tile floors were not clean and we couldn't go bare foot in the room. Pool is not as large as I would think for a resort this size. Resort was very hard to find but not a bad location once you got there. They are still doing construction on buildings so there is some dust and noise around. Worldquest my be nicer once they get all the buildings done and kinks out ,but think we will pick another place to stay next time around.

Just returned from a Labor Day holiday with my family (5 adults and 3 kids), and can't believe how perfect this place was for us.

The three-bedroom unit was huge and we all had plenty of room to spread out. For about $200 per night on a holiday weekend, I am sure there was nothing else better out there. The beds were comfortable, the rooms were very clean.

They have a nice continental breakfast, an evening snack, as well as one just before bedtime.

The swimming pool is huge, and very clean. They also serve food and drinks out by the pool, which is so convenient. We ended up asking for late checkout on the last day just to hang out at the pool!

The resort is quite close to Disney and SeaWorld. And while the units have full kitchens, if you want to eat a meal out, you will need to drive, there really isn't anything within walking distance.

I would definitely recommend this place for your next stay in Orlando.
