The room is average upscale hotel room, but the grounds & resort are amazing! The service at the hotel from moment of check in to check out was unbelievable - these people are truly here to serve YOU!! Beds are comfortable, room extremely clean & fresh smelling. The perks that come along with the resort & Universal ticket combo are unbeatable!! Buy stuff in the park & they will deliver it to your room free of charge. The room key also works as an express pass putting you at the head of most of the lines for rides in the parks and shortens your wait times to be seated at restaurants! The free water taxi to and from Universal Studios Citywalk is great - we could have a nice affordable dinner at the restaurants there & have a drink or 2 and not worry about driving home! The pool is very large, but only 4 foot deep in most places - ensuring safety for most guests. They do have a water play area and pool for younger/smaller children also. Overall we all love this place & would recommend to all who can afford it! It is expensive, but for the resort & all it's perks it's well worth it!

Room Tip: Pool view was great! We had top floor (7th) room, very quiet & relaxing

We stayed for one night at the Royal Pacific Resort and though it was quite pricy, it was definitely worth the price. The hotel is quite beautiful, with a nice ambience (particularly the outdoor courtyard area), excellent first-class service and elegant decor. Our room was quite nice, though not as glamourous or luxurious as the price tag would have had me believe. Nevertheless, the room came with nice amenities and was very comfortable.

However, the main selling points of this hotel (and what makes it worth the price tag) is its location (just minutes away from the two Universal Studios parks) and even more importantly, the two Universal Studios park perks: namely, the one hour early admission to Islands of Adventure (where the Wizarding World of Harry Potter is located), which made our time at WWOHP relaxed and stress-free as we had an hour to avoid the bulk of the crowds, and the Universal ExpressPass, which let us skip almost all of the lines at both Universal Studios and Islands of Adventure. Both perks were available to us for 2 days despite only a 1 night stay.

Therefore, while the hotel itself is very nice and feels luxurious at times, it really is the Universal perks and the location which make the hefty price worthwhile. If you want to have a stress-free and relaxed time at the Universal parks, this place is definitely worth the splurge.

Royal Pacific has done a great job of making this hotel feel like you are in Hawaii. Having been to Hawaii I can say this. The lobby and restaurants were great and awesome selection of food and entertainment. The pool was very nice and the motor boat service to the parks was perfect. Kudos to the hotel for offering free Wi-Fi in the lobby! The only downfall I found with this hotel was the price for 2 reasons. Parking was not included at $15 per day for guests and the rooms were not on par with the hotel rate. The bathroom was that of a 2 star with dirty fixtures and a crapy shower and tub which really took away from a relatively decent room. While not much attention was paid to the bathrooms, the housekeeping was outstanding in the rest of the room. The hallways to the rooms need updating and the stairways, if you don't want to wait for an elevator were filthy.

Good location & amenities if you are visiting Universal. Otherwise, I would stay elsewhere. The Express ride passes are awesome. Somewhat justify the cost of this hotel. Grounds are nice. Pool, front desk, & bell staff were friendly. Waiter @ Islands was OK, not overly friendly. Rooms are on the smaller side. Nothing spectacular. The lobby is nice. Pool is OK but I have seen better.

We had a 5 night stay here and were very impressed with the hotel - it was very big and spacious and the pool was great for the kids (non stop water volleyball in the pool). We stayed in a club room on the 7th level which had a special club key for the lift. Food in the club room was quite nice, but probably wouldn't bother with club level again as the kids didn't really want to eat there.
The location was fantastic - a short water boat ride or walk to the Islands of Adventure and Universal Studios.
We only had a couple of meals at the hotel - the bar by the pool was great value for money and excellent quality.

Room Tip: The rooms are pretty much the same, apart from the view. Suites are obviously larger and much more expensive
