Old key west is a relaxing oasis in the crazy world of Disney. It takes you away from the crowds and let's you Unwind from an exhausting day.The rooms are always updated and welcomes you home on every visit. Stay in turtle pond area and enjoy a quiet pool and access to snack bar and bus transportation. Olivia's restaurant brings food that will let you imagine you are in Jimmy Buffets Key West. Always a great place to vacation.

Had a fab 2 weeks at Old Key West (OKW ) Initially not overwhelmed by the deluxe studio and slightly taken back with the "welcome home" greeting at the Hospitality House (HH hereafter - reception in old terminology).
However, the staff were all very friendly and helpful and the resort was spotless. Room cleaned daily. Air con and fan (latter stopped working week 2). TV, storage units, microwave, fridge and coffee maker. No tea bags or kettle though - even after request made onsite. The room was more than comfortable for our needs (Mum, Dad and 9yr old son) with 2 double beds, small kitchenette and a bathroom/shower facility and a small balcony.
Anyway, most of our time was out in one (or more) of the 4 Disney parks or Universal Studios. The free Disney buses ran regularly from our 'Old Turtle Pond Rd' location and via HH to Disney locations. Olivia's restaurant at OKW was very good and we enjoyed several meals/counter service and snacks there. Boats also ran from the back of HH to Downtown Disney (also free) and this was a pleasant 15mins journey along private waterways (no gators spotted). Felt very safe at OKW and enjoyed several nighttime strolls from HH to our studio under the stars and occasional distant lightning storms. Plenty to do near HH for all ages - indoor craft area for lots of different play, myriad games, pool table, tennis courts, basketball court and mini adventure course (all outdoor) as well as nice family pool, sandcastle water assisted slide. Plenty of clean towels available, snacks and small bar. Outdoor large screen for daily 9pm disney film for post-parks/pool relaxation/enjoyment. Resort shop a bit pricey but convenient. No qualms recommending this resort whatsoever.

Wouldn't wanna live here! Don't get me wrong, its beautiful, I did give it 4!
Maybe because our room was in China.. or South Point stop to be exact.
We had the standard room. It was lovely, spacious and had a deck.
We had a little kitchen with sink, full size coffee pot, microwave and fridge.
Bathroom was amazing! 2 girls with full size and tons of hair and beauty products, it worked!

I think because we we're so far from the food court, the pool and what felt like civilization is the reason we won't stay here again. We we're on the second floor, and there were no elevators.

We were in the corner, so it was quiet and that is a plus after long days in the parks.
Staff was friendly and accommodating.

Room Tip: Get a preferred building!

Stayed here for 10 nights in a two bed villa. All requests were met. Beautiful grounds and wildlife. Villas are very spacious for 4. Jacuzzi tub was a great touch. Nice to have a large balcony too. A lot if amenities. We found the main pool a bit loud and busy but there are other options. Only a couple of negatives: we had someone below us smoking on their balcony which wafted onto ours, I think Disney needs to make sure everyone is aware this is a non-smoking resort. You can hear the toilets flushing from the next villa through the wall. No late check-outs allowed. Food options weren't as good as other hotels but we were aware of this before booking. Overall it was fantastic and we will be returning.

Staying here for our first trip to Disneyworld really impressed us. We felt comfortable, It was quiet, and very clean. Only draw back was being put on the 3rd floor, with no access to an elevator. With so many children in our party going up and down that many stair cases was a pain. But the room was very spacious for 9 people and the beds were quite comfortable. I would stay here again if I have more than 6 people in my travel party.

Room Tip: A room close to Hospitality house, preferably with elevators...
