Description: Santiago's Bodega presents a unique tasting experience featuring small plates that hopscotch between decadent (a warm Camembert wedge topped with sauteed garlic, onions, almonds, apricots, chopped dates, bell peppers), refreshing (yellow fin tuna, avocado, mango ceviche), exotic (lamb patties with fresh thyme, sherry, lemon zest) and just plain comfort-food-delicious (Roman meatballs on angel hair, or fried potatoes in a spicy sauce). As nothing costs over $15, there’s no major commitment, and if the relationship doesn't work, move along to the next selection. The menu’s ideal for sharing and for mixing up in endless combinations. Alternate between chevre tartlet, spanakopita, or smoked salmon carpaccio. Invent your own meal. Dining in such a way permits the rules of wine pairings to step aside like snooty impostors, and what goes best with dinner is exactly what tempts you. Santiago’s Bodega is a good-natured, low-key, food-lovers hangout, a neighborhood restaurant. - Margit Bisztray

My was my first visit to this restaurant and definitely not my last. I really did not know or understand the concept of Tapas until then. They are just small portions of large dinner plates or just normal appetizers. From a group of 12, we tried 10 different entrees. We arrived late for the brunch, but saw great things in the buffet. Will definitely try it on the next visit. I do really recommend you make reservations. I saw plate after plate of Crabs being served from the Buffet and that is a definite go. May we not forget the awesome Sangrias. Included in the buffet.

Someone else planned our visit here and they hit a home run! Super polite staff, way too many outstanding food choices will have you confused...go with the staff suggestions. This place was awesome in all aspects. Make a reservation ASAP!

Great food and staff. Best steak carpaccio around! Weird empanadas, but other tapas are great. Come to share. And drink! Haven't tried the brunch. That is next on the list.

Oh my gosh what a gem. We were visiting for a month and went here several times each week. It was consistently delicious at lunch, happy hour and dinner. It is a fun and friendly bar and they make a point to learn your name and make you welcome. Great mojitos! Happy hour prices are great and include a tapas selection. We also met people for dinners and loved trying a wide range of tapas...all of which were extraordinary. It's the type where you take a bit, and all go wide-eyed in appreciation. Save room for dessert. Best bread pudding I've ever had.
