We stayed at this resort from Aug. 3 - Aug, 6. (Our reservations were actually from 8/3-8/7). A week prior to check in we called and requested to be away from the construction. When we arrived we were placed in a room and told by the guy checking us in that the room was facing away from it. We arrived in the room and realized that we were right in the middle of the construction. It was Sunday so there were no workers present. We went ahead and decided to keep the room. On Monday morning bright and early at 6:30 am we were woken up with loud noise. By 7:30 am we had enough and called the front desk requesting to be moved to another room. The girl spoke with the supervisor and called us back. We were told that there would be a cleaning fee if we wanted to move and that they were charging all guests that wanted to move. I told her that we would just check out early and she just kept aplologizing. What great service. We decided to try and get used to it so we went to the pool. That was another bad experience. The lazy river has no supervision at all and it is not large enough for a resort of this size. Some of the kids had thrown all the floats in the lazy river and it was clogging it up. I had to throw them all back out. They need someone to supervise this area.
When we checked out the girl questioned why we were checking out early. We told her about how unhappy we were. She asked why we did not come down and speak with a manager. I told her that the girl left us no other options except to charge us and that was per the supervisor. The desk clerk stated that she knew they would have moved us if we would have just come down and spoke with the manager. During this time she knew that we were very unhappy and she never even offered to go get a manager!!!What lousy service.

I have never been so disatisfied with a hotel. We would NEVER stay at another Wyndham property again. If you want a nice, relaxing vacation DON"T STAY HERE!!! They are undergoing MAJOR construction so there is NO relaxing.

On a positive note: The rooms are very nice and clean.

Bonnet Creek is absolutely gorgeous...the rooms and the grounds! We were given the royal treatment when we pulled into the gate house and checked in. Unfortuntly, that is where it stopped.

Since our family are owners with Wyndham, perhaps I am biased in expecting a certian level of customer service from Wyndham properties. This is the only Wyndham property that anyone in our family has stayed at and had to go the "sales speil". And yes, it WAS high pressured and long (almost 2 hours). From the get-go, we let the sales person know that we were NOT going to buy because of already owning a property and that we were on a tight schedule (we had rsvp's at a show)-they badgered us about selling and rebuying at Bonnet Creek instead. Then we had a "closer" come over to ask us very personal questions and get snippity with us because we didn't want to buy there. By the time we finally were allowed to leave and recieved a $75 Disney Dollar-we had already missed our rsvp and I was ticked.

Our next problem occurred with the shuttle service. We had pre-purchased our Disney tickets -5 day hopper, water park and more. If Bonnet Creek had mailed the shuttle schedule with the other information-we would have known that the hopper option was a waste of money for us and that there would be no returning to the condo during the day to cook meals (buying meals in the parks...another avoidable unexpected expense). The shuttles dropped us off at park opening and pick-ups started very late afternoon and stopped approximately a half an hour BEFORE the fireworks shows in each park. Yes, BEFORE! We saw the high fireworks from the 7th floor lobby. Another disappointment.

Fed up with them and their kids not getting to see the fireworks, a couple that we were traveling with decided to try and "beat the shuttle schedule" by going to EPCOT and catching "Illuminations" and then taking the monorail to Magic Kingdom to catch that shuttle. They arrived to watch the shuttle pull away. The taxi back to Bonnet Creek from the Magic Kingdom was $72 for 5 people (2 adults and 3 kids under age 7)!

Then there was the day we were supposed to go to Hollywood Studios-the schedule had a misprint on it. Fifteen of us were waiting at the bus stop for a shuttle that had showed up and left an hour earlier. We never did make it to Hollywood Studio.

Since, we were there to go to DISNEY-we didn't care about the recreational programs...the parks were our planned recreation.

What was originally thought to be a "less expensive" way to go to Disney -ended up costing us over $800 more than if we had stayed on property (between tickets, meals, and parking- and that was using the $75 Disney dollar they gave us for going to their "presentation".) It also cost us time in the parks.

A vacation that was two years in the making (and saving) was almost destroyed by frustration and anger over shuttle scheduling.

In closing, the only people that I would recommend Bonnet Creek is to a Wyndom owner needing to burn points, or to an annual passholder (free parking/discount on meals in parks).

Next time, I'll just stay on Disney property.

A wonderful place. We stayed a week and had a great time the poolside evening movies were lots of fun for the kids. Pleanty of bus service to all the parks. Only problem was the phone in our room kept going on the blink. Convinent to have a full kitchen and washer and dryer with three kids. Being a single parent I felt safe and secure in the area. I would return again.

We really enjoyed our 12th floor view from the newest tower at Bonnet Creek. This was our 4th stay here. As some previous posters have complained that this is not Disney, its pretty close! In fact I enjoyed it more than our recent stay at the Boardwalk Villas. The accomodations are outstanding and comfortable. We didn't use the shuttle, but its so easy to drive anywhere from the location. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this place to anyone. This is the closest you can get to Disney property without staying on Disney. The prices are reasonable and its clean and comfy. Excellent stay!

My family and I spent three nights and four days here before heading over to the Daytona Beach Ocean Walk Resort for a week. While here, we enjoyed and appreciated the free bus rides to locate Disney parks. The buses were on schedule, clean and the drivers were friendly. The resort was new, clean and included Internet access from our 2 bedroom condo. The staff was very friendly, promptly answered questions and provided any information needed. Our kitchen was missing a couple of items (oven mitts and hand towels), but both were brought to us within 15 minutes or so of requesting them. Hey.. .mistakes and problems will always occur while on vacation. We were so pleased with the response of the resort employees. Flat screen TV's were great.

Our kids loved the pool and lazy river. A nice touch was the pool side movie that our kids watched while floating in the pool. We could hardly get the kids back to the condo for bed. One evening, I believe we were at the pool until 12:30 AM. We have no reservations about recommending this resort to our friends and family.
