Review of Best Western Orlando Gateway Hotel

We spent a Friday night here on a last minute reservation. First time at this hotel so I was not sure what to expect. The hotel was full and very noisy but not throughout the night. Parking was adequate. I though all Best Westerns included breakfast, but not here. There is a coffee/pastry shop in the eating area and breakfast was around $11. However, there was still a coffee maker in the room. There was a nice view from the 7th floor. Traffic in Orlando is horrendous but surprisingly not in front of the hotel. We could make a left turn out of the hotel without any problem. The hotel is in an excellent location for visiting Universal.More

Great staff

Convenient area. You can get to theme parks and food easily. The hotel has a restaurant inside. It’s kind of pricey but nice. The pool are is cool and big enough for everyone. The rooms are average nothing special.

Best Western. Better than the Hilton

Rooms. Very clean. Maids beyond my expectations.. front desk ladys. Very friendly. Helpful... normally at the Hilton not any more.. very classy .. Swan towel beautiful touch... gym. Was clean. Pool very refreshing

Everyone is very friendly

Everyone is kind and helpful, safe area too! Good family option! Clean with a nice pool. The breakfast area and food was very good. 10/10 would recommend this location and eating here too. Other restaurants are close by including xrreme pizza(delicious and affordable plus friendly staff).

Don't do it

Read the fine print.
Hotel is in serious need of a remodel. There are no USB chargers in the room. Carpet is soiled. Everything is just gross.
You pay a daily resort fee but nothing is open resort wise except the pool.
People run up and down the halls all night slapping the doors and screaming.
This is a non-smoking hotel or you can smell is marijuana everywhere.
Hotel is so short staffed especially in the evenings.
You have to empty your own trash every day and go downstairs to get things you need like towels, etc.

On behalf of our hotel and staff we would like to thank you for choosing to stay with us during your recent visit to Orlando.
Our hotel has bundled some of our guest amenities in to a small daily service charge fee which allows our guest to list of complimentary services.

Although our hotel does our very best to enforce our 100% Non-smoking policy, it is often difficult to find the exact room location of the offender violating our rules. Even with our best efforts, sometimes people disregard the rules of an establishment to the detriment of other guests. Please, accept our most sincere apologies on the behalf of those inconsiderate guests.

Again, we thank you for staying with us and for your review. We hope you will consider staying with us again during your next visit to Orlando so we may show you our dedication to improve and provide our guests with exceptional service and comfort.

Horrible hotel

They gave me a dirty room to start that was attached to another room by a door, then they moved us and both rooms smelled bad!!! It did not feel safe and they clean every 4 days so don’t expect them to clean your room if you stay less than 4 days!!!
