Great place for special occasion,
The food is great on its own .. its outstanding and reasonably priced.

On our first anniversary, called ahead for a flower bouquet which was perfect.

Menu is pan Asian which is a mix of Chinese Japanese Vietnamese and a few Thai dishes. The menu is wide ranging across that, with sushi sashimi then appetizers, small plates (like dim sum),
And a few "entree" items like sea bass and wahgu flank steak.

The service was prompt and perhaps overly courteous ("thank you" after every ordered item, and an overly zealous "enjoy!!" From the hostess when I asked where the restroom was).

We ordered two lovely cocktails (one rum based and one a Thai peach drink) .. superior in every respect. Perfect taste, perfect look.. very nice.

Then we ordered a bit much.. we had a fixed price meal including: a sushi roll, a dim sum, pad Thai, sea bass entree, flank steak entree, the best fried rice I have ever had, and the coup de gras was an mnm soufflé. Way too much food for 2 we boxed half of it for another day..

Each item was beautifully prepared and presented. The pacing was deliberate but not slow, the tastes were adventurous (spicy to mild) the echo roll starter had spicy ceviche on a California roll and it was great. The Seabass was buttery and graceful tasting.

The mnm soufflé was wonderfully fun and tasty (see picture) and they surprised me by comping the flowers..

Great night.. every phase delightfully executed..

We will go back.

Love the duck rolls, kung-pao lettuce wrap, and other small plates. Sushi was good but too fancy. Need to have some traditional sushi/sashimi options. Very good service.

We enjoyed Echo very much. The food and service were excellent. The cool thing about Echo is you can spend a lot or not, depending on how you order. My guest and I shared the Dim Sim sampler for 2 and 3 other appetizers including 2 different sushi rolls and the bill was only $70 for both of us before tip. We did not have drinks, however. So although the entrees are pricey, you don't have to order them and you get a lot more flavors this way. Also, you can request a quieter location since the main dining room is noisy. You can also dine outside if you request that. The staff was very accommodating.

We love sushi and Asian food especially Thai. The prices are so high for sushi rolls you can get anywhere that we decided to try other things. We decided to share Peking duck buns as our appetizer (3 per order) and were immediately asked if we wanted to upgrade to 4 buns. Ok, since I knew I would get one to my husband's two. Then we ordered the salmon and tuna tartar and were asked if we wanted to upgrade to avocado instead of crispy rice underneath. Enough with the upgrading- if one can get avocado for a price put it on the menu as a choice! Finally we shared the chicken curry which we enjoyed and was not swimming in coconut milk as is sometimes the case. Our biggest problem was the rush to order drinks, the rush to order our meal, the rush to get us in and out while it was a quiet Wednesday night and the place was pretty empty. Our server was not friendly, quite brusk and a real downside to the meal. At these prices, servers should be better trained or managed.
