I really wanted to give this place a rating of 5. However, the wine and beer pricing seemed to be excessive. I know the costs and markups (but not in Pensacola) but they still seemed high. And, I ordered more wine for the entre....it arrived after about 1/2 of the entre was consumed. Also, the cornbread appetizer price was also quite high, in our opinion.
The service was very good, except for the wine delivery noted above.
The food was VERY good.....if you order anything other than their pot roast, you might be taking your chances (although that quality may be similar). You don't see pot roast on a lot of menus and this is part of their name....FOR GOOD REASON.
I really don't know why there was a knife on the table !!!!!!!!!!
In our opinion, this is a DON'T MISS place in Pensacola......don't dismiss it because it looks like a 40 year old diner.
