Mangroves is tucked away in the corner of a plaza which makes it hard for the naked eye to spot. It is run singularly by a local man who is responsible for all the cooking and service. The owner is very pleasant and an excellent chef. Everything I tasted was, well, tasty. The crab bisque is perrfect. Chips and salsa are fresh -- chips are warm and salsa is freshly made. I had the crabcake sandwich. It is easy for many restaurants to screw up a crab cake, but this was great. Eaten with homemade sauce. The Peterbrooke chocolate-dipped key lime cheesecake tops off a meal. Deli style dining featuring work by local artists. Now features outdoor seating. Closed on weekends, but the owner can be found along with his food at Riverside Arts Market on Saturdays.
