My family and I visited Jaybird’s for their Easter buffet, and had a wonderful experience. Our party included an elderly, disabled family member with special needs, and they went over and above to make her comfortable and accommodate her. The wait staff was very attentive, and made us aware of all that was included in the price of our buffet, which was very helpful. The buffet was fresh and tasty, with new food constantly being brought out. We were very pleased and would highly recommend the restaurant.

We visited Jaybird Restaurant on Saturday of Easter weekend. We started by asking for draft beer. Most choices were sold out. We got the last 2 servings of Bluemoon. The waitress gave us a deal because there wasn't enough for us to get a 2nd as part of the Happy Hour special. Apparently a large crowd cleaned them out during the week.
I ordered a Caesar salad. The waitress felt bad because there weren't any croutons. The salad came with a roll that was so hard it broke into crumbles when tapped against my plate. The waitress again apologized saying that new rolls were going to be offered soon!?!? The peel and eat shrimp were ok.
My husband enjoyed his fish and chips. He asked about the meatloaf, but it was sold out.
I will go back to give them another chance. Hoping this was just an off experience for me.

Thank Nellie G

We stayed at the Jaybird Inn and it was very convenient to have breakfast at the Jaybyrd restaurant. Very good breakfast. Tasted like a
home-cooked meal.

Food was ... good. But, not exceptional.
The atmosphere was ... acceptable. But, not what I'd call "inviting."

The night we were there for pizza they had several staff call off, including both cooks. The food prep assistant was doing the cooking and not well. There were two waitresses trying to do everything. They ended up giving out free food or reoders. Our pizza was . . . left behind .
