Ancient City Brewing

I had heard a lot about Ancient City Brewing and was very happy to learn it was less than two miles from the hotel we were staying at of I-95. There website did not have a specified closing time for Saturday, so we weren't sure what we would find getting there at 10:20. After having their beer, it was no surprise that they were packed! Their menu is extensive, so we ended up getting two flights to cover all the AC brews we found interesting. The girl behind the bar threw in an extra barrel aged version of one of them as a bonus. The Vanilla Imperial Porter and the Honey IPA alone were worth the trip. All the others lived up to the hype I had heard earlier. If your in St. Augustine, Ancient City is a must do brewery.

Had not been here since it was mile marker brewing company. It is off the interstate and a good place to stop before heading to the beach. Good selection of beer, and the flight is as a good price. Took home a growler to enjoy later.

Ancient City Brewing took over the space that used to be Mile Marker brewing. It is in the industrial area that is close to the outlet malls. It isn't too hard to find with a GPS.

The inside is mostly just a huge empty space. They have dartboards and high top tables. However, it does get quite noisy inside. They really could use to turn down the jukebox which can overwhelm the entire room. There is an outdoor area where you can get away from the noise and there are tables and a pool table out there.

The beer is okay but not particularly inspiring. They do have a large selection and they also have guest taps from other Florida breweries.

This place has a large selection of beers (from theirs and other breweries) and plenty of things to keep you entertained (darts, tvs, video games, pool table, etc.). There was only one bartender the day we went for quite a lot of people so hopefully you don't go when you're short on time.

Brewery offering not only their brews but a few others from other craft breweries. If you aren't sure which brew to select you can order a flight of 4-4 oz glasses and taste several.
The tasting room is comfortable and has not only a bar but tables and dart boards.
Didn't bring your own growler, don't worry, you can purchase and fill either a 64 oz or 32 oz of theirs to take home.
First visit but definitely not our last.
