Description: For everyone who loves redemptive powers of the sea and the sensual tastes of the very freshest foods and great drinks, the cure is indeed here: St. Pete Beach’s most festive dining experience, The Salty Rim Grill. The Salty Rim is something from the imagination of an old Florida dreamer or Buffet song. the fresh food is influenced by the great tastes of the Caribbean, Florida Keys and places that rim the Gulf of Mexico. But it’s even more than that, The Salty Rim is a state of mind; the nearest faraway place that the fun loving people of Tampa Bay can escape to… and please when you enter, be sure to check your worries at the door.

Bong-bong shrimp, conch fritters, Buffalo Chicken between the buns, and fresh grouper were all great. And the service was very good, Joel took great care of us

we both ended up ordering this and they were very good. they did char the outside of the burger which wasn't the best, but overall with the bacon and onion straws they were really good. we were there early on Sunday and enjoyed sitting outside. server was friendly. we will likely return and try seafood.

Popped in for lunch. After our second round of drinks and about an hour, our waitress told us that they were out of fries and slaw and the only other sides they had remaining for our meals were corn bread and bread. Seriously? Very disappointed. Would not recommend. It's also in a kind of crummy location overlooks a bunch of parked cars , boats, RVs.... definitely presents better at night in the dark

A nice place to go on the water. Food is hit or miss. Had the Bong Bong shrimp, excellent. The fish and chips, fries excellent, fish soggy and batter on inside soggy. Service is good, but kitchen is slow, but your there to enjoy the view and have a relaxing drink. All in all a good visit. Would go back again, but try something else.

We have been to this area on the gulf many times over the years and don’t know how we ever missed this waterfront gem. Stopped in for lunch on this busy Sunday afternoon. We were greeted at the door and took a seat at the bar until a waterfront table became available. Good selection of beers and spirits. Staff was very friendly and kept our glasses full. Atmosphere is very casual as you would expect at a beach bar. I had the BONG BONG SHRIMP (an appetizer but easily a meal) and they were absolutely delicious. My companions had the SEAFOOD MARGARITA and SPINACH SALAD. Both were equally delicious. Prices are quite reasonable. What made the experience more enjoyable was the guitar styings of Lea Braum, a local musician. All in all, a great lunch and highly recommended.
