Our dinner here was sister’s celebration of turning 87. We ate elegantly in hotel’s swanky Maritana. Waiter Jeff from Long Island did a fine bit of service. He brought ahi appetizers. Main entrees were filets for Don & Gretchen, chicken for sister Norma, swordfish steak (catch of the day) for me. Gretchen shared her flaming creme brulee and Norma her chocolate mousse. A $90 bottle of Quail Napa Valley wine was surprisingly good, though it was capped, not corked. Da times dey is a changin’. Nice restaurant and the dinner served us well for a momentous occasion. It is worth putting on your best duds. Classy clientele. Also a beautiful setting.
