Owner description: Enjoy a treetop adventure at ZOOm Air Adventure Park Orlando, up in the trees of the Central Florida Zoo & Botanical Gardens! ZOOm Air's aerial adventure courses are deftly woven into the forest of the blackwater river floodplain swamp that is home to the Zoo. The design of our courses is integrated with the natural environment, inspired by the trees and the flow of the terrain and flora. Become an arboreal animal, as you swing, climb, balance, and zip from tree to tree. Get a bird's-eye view of the land below as you travel in the trees over dancing logs and tight wires, across rope bridges, nets, and suspended disks. Feel your adrenaline pump as you conquer abundant treetop challenges, including exhilarating rides on our zip lines. Meanwhile, your perches in the trees offer an opportunity to see flora and fauna not found on the ground, and to get a feel for what it's like to live in the trees. A ZOOm Air adventure is a great outing for families, friends, or co-workers. This entertaining, self-propelled attraction gives both nature lovers and challenge seekers the opportunity to enjoy the thrill of adventure in Seminole County. We provide you a harness system and train you to use it. Then we send you off into the trees to resurrect your inner child, overcome your fears, and explore the world from a new perspective, while our thoroughly trained park operators monitor your activities from below. As a reward, finish off the games with a series of wild zip lines! The shorter set can enjoy ZOOm Air adventure, too, on our safe-but-exciting Kids' Course. And if we didn't wear you out completely (and we often do), while you're there, visit the Zoo. You may see some genuine arboreal animals, and kids love to cool off at the Wharton-Smith Tropical Splash Ground at the Zoo. Amenities: Parking; restrooms; gift shop selling souvenirs, bottled water, pre-packaged snacks, insect repellent, and shoe rentals for those visitors showing up in flip-flops. Full food concessions are available inside the Zoo.
Useful Information: Activities for older children, Activities for young children, Food available for purchase, Bathroom facilities

“Lots of fun and excitment!”

Tried this place out during the summer and enjoyed it so much that we purchased annual passes. This was alot of fun and I'm not one for this type of thing but I must say I really enjoyed it. The first two courses are not that difficult but make you work. I would skip the last one (also the longest) unless you are pretty extreme. My son also enjoyed it very much but was a little scared with the zip lines however, they have plenty of staff on hand that really helped out when he was nervous!

KInda of expensive but the courses are fun. It takes about an hour and half to do the kids course (parents walk underneath) and about 3 hours for the 2 adult courses.

“Lovely place and great staff”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 16 November 2011

High ropes course that is well set up, 2 zoom lines in the basic adult course. Great and attentive staff, concerned about safety, and supportive and helpful while going through the course. When one member of our party wanted to stop, they put up a ladder to get her down early.

“Great Fun”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed 12 August 2011

I took my 11 year old son last week and took two older ones (16 and 22) today. They 11 year old did very well and the older ones also had a great time. It was hot, but it is mostly under the trees.
We did the basic course, which had about 26 total obstacles, including 4 zips. The zips are not very long, but course is challenging.
Before beginning you get a 15 minute course on using the equipment and safety, which includes a low zip so the instructor can see if you learned how to be safe. They don't come with you on the course, but they are on the ground monitoring things.
The course takes about and hour and a half and is a pretty good workout. It's next to the zoo, so you can go there if you wish, though we didn't.
All in all, we had a great time and didn't spend nearly as much as some of the longer courses.
