Stayed in 193 a couple of times now. It's such a comfortable condo. Great view of the beach from the balcony. Recently the owners have had the kitchen and master bedroom ensuite redone and they both look great. Great facilities in the kitchen and a new washer and drier too so you can do all of your laundry without worrying about taking it all back home with you. Very comfortable beds too. Will definitely stay here again on our next vacation to Sanibel.

This is the second time we have stayed at this condo association. It is a bit older, but all the condos are individually owned, so you have to do your research to make sure you get an updated condo if that is important to you. The first time we stayed in 572, which was nice, bright, and clean. This time we stayed in 512, which is a unit with a full Gulf view. The condo was pretty basic, but had updated appliances and was aesthetically pleasing. The views are incredible, and it is so nice to be able to walk out the door and be at the beach! The beach is nice with gentle waves and a sandbar, which makes the water shallow. It is perfect for little kids. We found many live shells, sand dollars, and starfish. We even saw some sting rays. Shelling isn't the greatest on this beach. It seems to get pretty picked over. The grounds are beautiful. They have an outdoor shower to clean off the sand. This unit offered beach chairs, but an umbrella would have been nice. The pool is deep, so it isn't a good fit for kids. There are rules in place to keep the noise down, but the noise from the center courtyard still echoes and is heard all over. Overall, great place to stay!!

PROS: Nice pool, tennis courts, not far from restaurants and lighthouse
CONS: Small beach area, not much to entertain teenagers, condo 581 only has one comfortable piece of furniture in living room and the rest is wicker, only two chairs not broken or torn on lanai, no beach chairs provided
OVERALL: Adequate, I suppose, but would not stay here again

We recently spent over 3 weeks in a condo at Loggerhead Cay. The positives: excellent central location, well kept grounds, elevators worked, pet friendly, good condo layout. Comfy bed, washer/dryer, walk in shower.
Our view was excellent, and we truly loved the screened porch for breezes and relaxation. Convenient beach access.

The negatives: Although living room furniture LOOKS good, it is broken down to the point one can barely get out of it. Condo photos show this furniture has been there since hurricane remodel in 2004. Wish owner would replace with sofa with recliners on each end.

There is no escaping the lawn service people who are forever mowing & blowing. There is assigned parking, but appeared to be no enforcement, and no security in the complex. At night, it is very dark. This is an older complex, thus rates are somewhat more reasonable/affordable to a wide range of people.....during our visit, people seemed to control their kids pretty well. We would return, but the broken down furniture is a concern.

Very quiet condominium. On the beach quick walk to the water. Lots of shells right in front of condo. After all the rain this week there was a little flooding and would get eat up by mosquitos at times but that's nature. Overall great condo.
