Very accomodating staff. Clean, well appointed rooms. (TVs could be of higher quality and with HD reception) Centrally located right off I-95, easy access. New mall nearby with many shops and variety of restaurant. TV could be of higher quality and with HD reception.

Hawthorn Suites of West Palm Beach Florida is usually my hotel to pick due to consistent good service, clean and comfortable beds.

This trip was disappointing due to the fact that they Hotel accommodated a large family reunion during my stay. The breakfast area was taken over by this family and it was very difficult to find a clean spot to eat or food during the breakfast hour. The food ran out quickly and you had to stand in line just to get something to eat which was often cold and not appealing. The breakfast staff seemed to be overwhelmed and not very friendly. They took up the food without announcing that they were going to close before we were able to get items from The Breakfast line.

Tile in the bathroom dropped onto the floor and the blackout curtain slider broke and had to be repaired during my stay. All of the repair items were reported to management and they took care of it the next day. During check-in The door to the bedroom would not work with the key and had to be replaced several times. The maintenance manager had to replace the lock on the door.
Needless to say I was very disappointed with my stay this trip.

We stayed here because they had a special rate for an event going on at the Palm Beach convention center. I now wish I'd paid more to stay somewhere else. On the plus side, it was a quick drive to the convention center and there was a TON of food, grocery and shopping options at the hotel's exit. The room wasn't super clean. There was food on the floor that hadn't been cleaned from the prior guest. I got bit by some kind of bug, leaning toward fleas over bed bugs since they allow pets but couldn't ever see anything. When they did 'clean' the room they clearly flung the comforter on the floor because the TV remote that had been on the bed was found on the floor. They didn't even bother to pick it up. Breakfast was okay for it being free. But the coffee wasn't good and the food wasn't being replenished our first day (a Saturday!) Our 2nd night the fire alarm went off. It was a false alarm but while we all standing outside we received zero communication about what was going on from the staff. When the alarm did stop we just assumed we could go in so we did. Another guest said they were told the fire alarm went off twice the week before. There are other hotels at this exit and even more one more exit south where the convention center is. I will not be staying here again.

We went to Palm Beach for our son's Wedding and were delighted to stay at the Hawthorne. It is a beautiful hotel, clean and elegantly decorated. The rooms have a kitchen, living room and separate bedroom. The staff was warm and friendly. The breakfast was terrific. We highly recommend the Hawthorne in Palm Beach?0

We spent 1 night in a 2 queen suite. The rooms were spacious, clean and well-stocked. The interstate is visible from the hotel and makes this location convenient, however, even though the front desk put us at the farthest end from the highway, we still hear the noise of trucks passing. I use earplugs when I travel so I managed ok but my husband didn't. The breakfast was the usual fare- nothing special or exciting but well-stocked. The tables in the breakfast area are awkward. They're patio tables with a granite top with upholstered wood chairs. Scooting up to your plate is not possible because the base of the table is so large. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and found the location idea for eating & shopping nearby.

Room Tip: Request rooms farthest from the interstate
